I think the only way he goes is if his agent gets a hint of interest and Abada wants out for all the obvious reasons.

Reality is he hasn’t played much this year due to injury and when he did early in the season he wasn’t great and that came off the back of a poor second half of last season and another injury. His stock is probably low just now.

So if this comes down to a footballing point of view he probably stays to the summer to try get his stock up again.

Contrary to that is he will stand out well on stats based recruitment given his goals and assist returns and his age. There was talk if Edwards left Sporting in the summer they were keen. There is talk he could go to West Ham so if that happens they may come in for Abada and then he would have a decision to make.

 

Can’t see us doing that till summer, his injury has lowered his value, we wouldn’t get an acceptable bid in to accept I think.

 

Hun loards doing everything they can to upset the situation, he got a rapturous support when he returned to the park, I'm sure he will play a big part for us this season.

 

Abada has a fair bit to do to get back to where he was a year ago, it's not even a given he starts right now either with Kuhn incoming.
I think he has fantastic potential, just not sure about his mindset right now.
If we got a decent bid north of £4M, would interesting see if we took it.

 

Hope with Abada was BR would improve his overall game, but injury curtailed that plan - still hoping he stays and can do just that for the second half of season. If only to push Maeda for a start or to come off bench when opposition tire. With Kuhn coming in and presuming he’s a starter, it’ll be Maeda or Abada on other wing. HH

12 months ago, I'd have agreed we'd get £12M easy.
Now he's almost having to start again, don't get me wrong if he turns it on 2nd half season then all good.
Unfortunately his current value is now much lower, BUT with huge potential to get it back (and more) if he gets in and takes his chance.
I wouldn't sell him at current lower price, but sadly our board might given way we criminally undersold Joranovic and Giakamakis

The whole situation was mental.

Moved on bcoz of lack of game time under a manager who was working his own ticket.

 

They both had low releases in their contracts, both were to get a bumper deal that would have upped the clause a lot but don’t think our wage offer was as expected. Jura went for money and GG went for game time.

 

Just reckon we should tell him he is staying till summer and then we will listen to offers.
We are in a serious title race and he is a quality player, potential match winner.
He is under contract to us, so * this moving now *.

 

I’m not against him leaving but I would rather it was in the summer due to Forrest, Johnston, and Yang being the other options if Kühn is out.

 

Can't see him going (or O'Riley or CCV) this month.

The summer is completely different.

Abada and O'Riley will definitely be off and we may even see CCV after recent stories.

 

He'll be vital for the run in, we've missed him so much, gets so many goals

 

No way we should even be thinking about selling Abada this month. He could be vital for us if we are to win the league. Then maybe in the summer if the lad has made a good contribution and wants to go.

 

Can go in the summer with our blessing. We've a league to win.

 

Think he will leave before the window closes. Pressure from home will be too much.
