I’m proper excited about this guy tbh, think he looks really good in his videos. I know some can be deceiving but he looks skillfull, controlled, pacey, direct, has a good delivery and can shoot. Doesn’t look tiny either so for me he’s ticking all the right boxes. Seems to have a decent pedigree and experience aswell.
Any reports I’ve seen on him look very good also. I think this will be a very good deal for 2.5mil.

He will fire us to the league title, and no mistake.

I'm struggling to get excited, not because of the player but I think purely because of our recent history of signings. I think if he had joined in the summer i'd be more excited.

Our last winger we signed seems a belter to me

I like Palma a lot, but again he should have been someone to come in instead of Tilio and Yang as an improvement to the squad, rather than being a replacement for Jota. I think Palma and Jota in the same side would have been deadly. I think the numerous throw * at a wall and hope it sticks, which we have seen a lot of had just caused massive cynicism. Again it's not the player, it's the lead up to it.

I like the sound of him. Can see the wingers having that Strachan effect....cutting inside more fir the shot.
Would take maeda out the wing and be used more often Central. Whether that's a good thing or not.

He in no way fits the description of the quality experienced players Rodgers says he chasing ..if he comes in and does well that's all well and good, there is very little to suggest he will be any better than maeda or abada

Looks a totally different player from Abada and Maeda tbf, Rodgers likes a player who can play right who's left footed etc..

All signings now are Rodgers signings.. and if we're signing players he doesn't want, I expect him to be vocal around that.. and if it is the case he'll likely walk again.

Got a good feeling about him to be honest, £2.7M seems a bit of steal if he hits the ground running.

Hopefully means we’ll spending the majority of cash on a left back & striker.

A thought it looked like a board signing at first but looking at his traits and stats more like a BR signing as you say

    Left wing

    Palma
    Daizen

    Right wing

    Abada
    Khun

Yang playing back up to all 4.

Mikey J and tilio out on loan

Forrest will no doubt still be around. Well covered wide now

Until he signs, I won't believe it. Peter Lawwell is back with his penny-pinching, and I am half-expecting news saying we've cooled our interest off.

On his YouTube he likes to cut in and can spot a run to slip then in. Kyogo will love that. Isn't greedy with shots either. I realise it's youtube but with that an 12 most chances created then I'm excited.

He looks like a good signing and an exciting player but this does not excuse the board for their failures

There's a lot to like in that video, but you can see why he's going for under £3 million. Mainly taking too long to get a shot off or poor final pass. A bit like what we have already, but it's clear we're not going to try and sign anyone at the next level. Think he could do well here though.

First I’ve had a wee look at this guy because it seems to be a goer, kind of profile I like. Came through at Ajax, enough talent for Bayern Munich to have a look. Never quite made it at they two, but clearly had the raw talent there. Moved to another league, couple seasons under his belt and just properly coming into his own, a good age at 23. And been linked for a good while, so clearly had a very good look at him.

Been through all the youth German teams, was a proper standout at U17 level. He has a pedigree growing up as a youth player, coming into his own now he moved to a level he’ll be getting games. Strikes me as a guy that in a years time, if we didn’t get him it’s one we can’t afford and ‘missed out yet again’

Also left footed right winger. Something we’ve all wanted.

Beginning to think we are getting hoodwinked again by this board bring in this £2 million signing and sell abada for £10 million plus and again making profit and not touching the £74 million in the bank and if this was the zombie board with that money they would bury us with 4 or 5 quality signings.
