I've heard from some one who works at celtic park that we are interested in signing bucky thistle midfielder Max Barry for 250k, wages won't be an issue and we see him as some one who we could raise their game to another level. We are also looking at Amari Morgan Smith a striker for Kidderminster Harriers and left back Brandon Horton from Chesterfield and Eastleigh central defender Ludwig francillette. Wages and transfer fees won't be an issue though there is some concern if Chesterfield get promoted in league two they would have more money to increase his wages and put him beyond what we would be willing to pay for a project.

Celtic representives held a meeting with who I'm told is Myron Boadu and his reps this evening in Manchester.

I don't follow French football closely but a quick search they have 4 decent strikers maybe looking to replace Boadu in the window?

Wasn't out injured for long and wasn't first choice before that and his stats aren't great from his time there, would make sense to move him on .

 

Looks an interesting player from his time at Alkmaar. They sold a few players to Ligue 1 and Serie A with very mixed success, even selling to Ajax in their own league.

Some of the boys that looked really top talents for them have flopped like Wijndal, Stengs, Karlsson and Boadu, where as guys like Koopmeiners, Beukema, Gudmundsson Reijnders and Kerkez, are all doing really well.

A loan to buy would be interesting as he has a lot to like about his game, looks very wuick, sharp movement, decent finisher of either foot.

 

Boadu was legendary for me in FM with AZ. So im sold

 

Absolutely no chance we sign Boadu.

 

Boadu’s the exact type of rumour for us to point to ‘missing out on’ when we eventually get a £3m striker from an obscure league in.

According to McGuinness_25 on KDS, Celtic have made an offer to sign free agent Jesse Lingard.
