Hickey knocked us back twice I’m sure, once while he was a youth here, and then at Hearts. Didn’t think he’d have got the time to develop here and be on the bench when he could be playing by all reports of it, and honestly looking at where he is at this point and how he’s developed, aye well done on that shout Hickey.

We’ve shown that it’s a likely thing to happen for young players coming here, and it’s worked out majorly for him.

 

Didn't think either were up to much in Scotland.

Think Hickey is unreal now. He'd walk into that left back spot for us but is way out of our league financially now.

It’s when he came on against Mudryk I was * impressed, majorly. Mudryk looked unstoppable at that point, and we seen it against us as well, up against Jura who was brilliant positionally defensively and was quick. And he was * up against him.

Are they not * financially now? See they’re 2nd this season so may have recovered but a couple seasons there think they were in turmoil.

May be talking * with that though, not a Belgian football expert just half remembered stuff about them last year or two them and Gent we should be able to beat financially, and with our involvement in the CL football wise as well. And it’s clubs like them we need to beat to players, guys linked with the likes of Anderlecht, Brugge, Salzburg etc etc. cos these guys go to these teams, and leave for big money.

 

Just looked that guy up, thats the type I think can be perfect circumstances, his leagues just finished, young, international, linked with clubs that have been good at bringing in class prospects and his league is summer football so is just finished making the transfer more viable for us.


No idea how good he is but fits the profile, if he has quality but without seeing him if he’s linked to clubs like that and International player at 22 he must have something. If he is good enough to make the difference in the CL, then we go all out for that.
