Alexanderplatz area mate, 3 times ive went ive always stuck to that area, direct train line to the airport and on the underground line of all major tourist attractions so really easy to move around the city if staying in that area.

Won't do cruises me and missus were in Belgium few years ago place called knokke-heists im sure it was . Anyway early March we were gonna travel ferry from zeebrugge onwards on our travels we were booked on a later ferry but had reached the port early and asked the purser girl if we could get.on that instead of later one . Fortunately for us they said yes and we missed the one we should have been on which unfortunately came to a sad demise. So me n missus won't do sea again. So June this year for 3 weeks we are climbing rhe italian dolomites .. I know 62 and 67 but we r fit.. I hope lol. Then corralejo for 4 weeks sept and bringing in bells in spain or barbados

New rules for carrying liquids in carry on luggage come into play from June.
IN LAW passengers will be allowed to carry up to 2 litres of liquids in their carry on luggage but some of the airports won’t have the scanners in place.
Going to be trouble at airports if scanners aren’t working and passengers LEGALLY can take their 2 litres they have with them.

Can’t imagine many people will need 2L worth of liquids in their carry on luggage.

Current limit is 100ml so new limit is 20 times that. Anything in between that currently isn’t allowed

I had more than 100ml in total in my carry on during my travels last year, as did my wife.

Edit: Found what you were on about. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/travel/advice/airport-security-rules-liquids-laptops

    S
o we’ll be able to have up to an individual 2l bottle of something. That’s good tbh though probably not necessary a lot of the time.

Tenerife at the end of the month for a week.

Need to sort some other trips out for this year. Fancy going to Japan but haven't looked into it yet.

Do it, mate. We went to Japan in August and it was incredible. One of the best places I’ve ever visited.

Debating a cheap getaway next month to Prague and then looking at a sunny holiday for either May or September (both with the Mrs).

Would like a golf trip with the lads to Spain or Portugal too. All the while trying to save money - * knows if I'll manage that bit :giggle1:

can get 4 nights in a swanky hotel (5*) with brekkie and flights for ~£250 and supposedly very cheap to eat/drink there so we're well up for it. Live like a king for a week in a stunning Euro capital. Sorted :smoke:

only downside is it'll be absolutely freezing but * it

Is it easy enough to navigate (with the lack of English signage etc) ?

Which places did you visit mate?

You'd be off yer heid no to. Price of drinks on the plane. Especially if its a long haul flight. No chance. A bottle of spirits and a bottle of juice will be in the hand luggage.

Imagine all the pished women going on hen do holidays....each taking a litre of vodka on the fight with them. It'll be absolute chaos like. But you'd be daft to not bring on a drink and spend a lot more on board instead
