    I am concerned about his ability to stay fit. But he does have promise from what little I have seen of him and for me there are quite a few ahead of him IMHO who we should be looking to sell.

    I’ve actually always thought he looked good but wasn’t convinced on our need to sign him. I felt him and O’Riley were too slow together in the middle but his recent form I think has shown his class and him and O’Riley linking well I’d be well up for making him permanent especially if you factor in the very likely possibility of O’Riley and turnbull going in in summer. Could give us the option to move Calmac up alongside Bernardo and try push the boat out for the destroyer of a DM we know that would thrive in this team.

    We’ve also seen that he can handle himself against top players in the CL

    It’s definitely wishful thinking, but having the two of them in the CL next year would be great … think they’ll be at a stage in their development where we could actually compete well … as long as we strengthen in other areas too.
