We used to have some proper good freebies.

Only success story there is Mooy.

I'll admit my memory is based mainly off his sheep days, where there was compilations of just how tragic he was..

How many duds from Scotland have went down and done well in the championship? Has he done anything in the Prem? I genuinely couldn't tell you..

Seen him a few times for Scotland where he's looked pish as well..

Isn't good enough on the ball
    Quite rash in the tackle
He's supposedly quick but runs like it's his first time out the door
Is he better than what we have? No sure about that at all..

Ccv is injury prone this season and can see him being cashed in in the summer given he’s hardly featured and still managed to win two derbies without him Nat Philips is away back mckenna who is better at 250k is good business and it will please Brendan as he wanted him in his first spell at 8 million

Another thing with this would be, if we got him on a pre contract or nominal fee, if it didn’t work out and he wasn’t good enough, I’m sure we would be able to punt him to a championship club for a decent amount with him still only being 27. He was Forests best player apparently the season that they got promoted

Funny that my memories are of him ragdolling Morelos kept dabbur awfully quiet against Israel …. Something Celtic centre back couldn’t do when we played Salzburg …. I’m not saying he’s a world beater but I beleive is quoted money of 250k it’s a decent bit of business if we can recoup most of the fee for lagerbielke

We usually ragdolled him ourselves but he got away with everything else....can't think why..

Talking about ragdolling, I can't remember a single time I thought he was good against us. He usually got pulled all over the place and made to look pish....funnily enough tye only time he got close to one of our players was when he got away with a knee high slide challenge on Edouard at Celtic Park..

Dabbur. Nah, I watched him get one of the worst chasings ever away in Kazakhstan..

Think it makes sense, home trained, Tim and will provide some much needed physicality too..

He's also peak age for a CB..

I also mind you were slating the CCV signing, so hopefully you're wrong again..:56: :50:

I think tbf judging him from a spell 5 year ago is difficult. He was 21/22 then. He's 27 now and has been playing at a much better level. He's definitely improved.

I was the same as you, didn't rate him. But I think he's improved and would bring some badly needed physicality and ability in the air.

Carter-Vickers is levels above this big diddy :giggle1:

Is there any decent compilations since he left instead of the ones of him getting terrorised? :fear:

None..always seems difficult to get one from players in the champ and their time in the EPL hasn't been plain sailing.

A guy who has only made 5 appearances this season is thinking about a transfer to us to be a backup in defence. Don’t see the pull for the player himself. No big improvement on what we currently have. No for me as there are more pressing areas to fill.

Is there rumours he’s a tim? Possibly closer to home too.

    Clutching at straws here..

Aye, think he's a Tim and would fit the home trained quota..

Not sure i believe some actually watch scottish football outside games vs us.

He had a few outstanding performances vs Rangers and was a rock for Aberdeen at the back.
Guy was Forrests player of the season in the promotion year. Hampered by injuries last year.

If we could get him for a decent fee due to his contract situation and recoup money for Lagerbielke it would be a no brainer.
