Another midfielder from the league who I think would be interesting is Victor Torp of Sarpsborg.

Playing in a mid table team he has stats for last seasons Eliteserien very comparable to Brevik and not that far of Gronbaek. His assist numbers are low but his expected assists are high meaning his team mates missed some sitters when they should have scored. He has a good eye for a pass and can carry the ball forward well. His highlights reminded me a bit of 16/17 Armstrong.

Full expected some beck talk in here after his decent enough performance at left back yesterday. Liverpool contract has 2.5 years left. Could get him for decent fee with a sell on

Good shout Foley, Torp looks a baller.

If Grønbæk leaves Bodø this window, Bodø will likely come in for Torp. He is a player that looked great against the lesser teams this season, but was kind of quiet against the top teams in the league. He might fare very well in a team that dominates possession.

LOLZ at the name but this isn't our assistant manager getting his boots back on to limp on in games for us from the bench but the 21 year old Brazillian striker, playing for Fluimense in Brazil. He can also play off the left and is valued at £7m on TransferMarket. He's got the lot. He's quick, he can finish, he can go past a man, he's strong... he's going to be the next gem to come out of Brazil. He's scored 18 goals and had 5 assists in 52 games this season. I think it's unlikely we would even be entertained as a destination because there will be someone down south who will likely come in and blow us out of the water. However, he's only valued at £7m at the minute and it makes me think he's not being watched as closely as some others are in Brazil/Argentina.

    Joaquin Piquerez

Left back playing for Palmeiras in Brazil. He's exactly what we need. Left back with plenty of pace and power. At 25 years old, he's coming into his best years. He played 58 games this season, with 8 goals and 7 assists from Left back. He can also play as a LWB/LM and has been called up to the Uruguay national team after some excellent displays in Brazil. Another one who may be out of budget and is currently valued at £13m but again, we have the money there. He would be incredible here.

    Konstantinos Koulierakis

Left footed CB, playing for PAOK in Greece. 20 years old but already looks like an absolute machine. Aggressive in the tackle, comfortable on the ball and looks very good for a centre back. Happy to drive out of defence with the ball and move into space, he looks like he's going to be an absolute beast at CB. Valued at £4.5m on Transfer Market, we may be able to sneak in there and bag this guy before someone else does. If we were to move on both Nawrocki and Lagerbielke, this is the guy I would love to come in and replace them.

    Giannis Konstantelias

Another one from PAOK, this time their young midfielder. Can play a variety of different positions but seems to excel in the attacking midfield role. Can play slightly further back, in a more central midfield role, picking the ball up deeper and driving forward, very much like Calmac did previously under Rodgers. At 19, he's only going to get better and he's already valued at £10m on transfer market. He's the greatest prospect Greece have at the minute, with him already getting 4 caps and a goal for the national team. Currently, he has 7 goals and 4 assists in 28 games, some in Europe too.

    Damian Pizarro

A bit of a left field suggestion, but 18 year old Colo Colo striker. Only 18 but has broken into their first team and has now made his Senior International Debut at a very young age. He played 28 times for Colo Colo this season, scoring 7 goals and providing 7 assists. He's only going to get better. He's big, strong and quick... very much Samaras vibes when I watch him. Deceptively strong and a great dribbler. Valued at £5m on transfer market at the minute but looks the real deal and the future of Chilean football. Will get a big move to Europe soon you would imagine.

Transfermarkt isnt a clear indication of value, ffs tavernier was rated at 12m for years on it.

No chance at those wages, he'll be back to Brazil most likely.

Ezgjan Alioski though, also plays for Al Ahli, was loaned out to fenerbache last season, hardly played this, he'd be a great Left back option for us amd can hit a mean set piece

Barnabaś Varga, high scoring numbers throughout this season and last, now at ferencvaros and at 29 i dont think would cost that much, scores all sorts of goals and looks deadly in around the box.

He's there main goalscorer and with 2.5 years left on his contract I imagine he'd probably cost more than you'd think.

I wouldn't be against it but I wouldn't be surprised if they still wanted 4m for him.
