I'm less against this than I was a few years back but I'd rather see Nawrocki get the game time.

I can't see him costing more than 1.5m, possibly free in the summer. I'd be okay with that. He's played fairly well for Scotland.

I don’t think he’s as bad as people make out he’s improved since going to England and was playing a good amount in the PL last season. He’s big strong and can defend for a small fee seems a decent addition for the squad

It will give home 6 months to settle in as I’m convinced CCV will go in the summer.

McKenna would bring experience and strength to the backline which We could really be doing with just now, I'm all for it

He’s a much better player now than he was when he left the sheep but still, I don’t see the need.

CCV, Scales, Rocky and Welsh are fine. Prioritise elsewhere.

Don't really see the need for him, he would count as homegrown I guess and a Tim I believe..

Must be going to offload Lagerbielke..

Not dead against it, depending on the fee.

CCV, Scales, Nawrocki, Welsh and McKenna would be good depth in that position.

Only thing is, we would still lack a Starfelt type with real pace in there. Don’t think McKenna is the quickest.

That implies he would be a replacement STARTING CB - McKenna in for CCV?
If that were not the most regressive step ever, I don't know what would be ......

IF he comes - and personally I hope not - at best he would be 4th in the CURRENT CB depth chart (assuming Lagertha is away and Welsh is long term injured again); and that won't change if CCV leaves, as we would surely get a high level replacement, especially with the new CL, as a new First Choice CB. There is NO WAY BR just moves all the others up in the Depth Chart and replaces CCV with a prospect or journeyman that is nowhere near CL quality.

mate you’re kidding yourself on if you think McKenna would be 4th choice better than Welsh and probably Scales. Scales has done well don’t get me wrong I would look to push him out left more

An impossible juggling act to have 5 centre halves for 2 positions who are all guys that would play regularly in either a Prem or Championship side down south. Four good centre halves is plenty, potentially supplemented by an Academy player or a full back or centre mid who can deputise. To that end unless Lagerbielke and 1 other go we’ve no requirement for him.

Absolute certainty we will go for him. Hes Scottish Valued at £10 million and lawwell gets him for next to nothing or on a pre contract. I’m happy with our current CBs so why are we going for him unless there’s a concern with CCV’s injury.

They’d probably want something like 8m for a very average centre back, no thanks.
