Speaks really well and in terms of performance he’s come in with next to no game time against quality players and shone. I enjoyed his composure, he never really seemed like he was hot potato’ing the ball which you’d expect given the nature of the game and his lack of game time.

Totally agree. He seems comfortable with his role as well.

 

Like him and a low dollar squad player, right now, would say he is our 5th choice center half.
He is decent enough on the ball, just wish he would beef up a tad.

 

Thought he was our best defender on the day until he went off. Somehow managed not to set the Huns away on goal like Scales and AJ or to get left for dead by their winger like Taylor. A high bar, I know.

 

Gutted for him no luck with injury..

However, I think Nawrocki is the real deal and hopefully seizes his chance.

 

Honestly feel like he never has any luck.

Is so unlucky. Thought he was excellent until he had to come off. Moves the ball out into dangerous areas quicker than any of our other CBs.

I feel he's a bit like a Lidl version of Starfelt.

He is always putting himself on the line, he's been unlucky that's caused injuries when it has, always does well though, he's a good squad member.

Freak injury but he’s made of glass unfortunately. A shame cause he rarely lets us down but no use if he can’t ever stay fit.

 

He was good before his injury and hopefully it's not a bad one.

 

Feel for Welsh as he was put in a position by an awful pass from Johnston and didn't have any time to really react. Was excellent up to that point.

 

He’s an excellent played underrated because he’s “one of us”. That’s a fact.

 

Always thought he was a solid defender hence why multiple Serie A sides have shown an interest in him

 

I often see him as a youth player but he's really well grounded in the team, with that being his 6th derby start.

I don't think he has a future with us with the quality we are aiming for, unless he's happy to sit back as a rare option of the bench like for instance Ralston.

 

He definitely has a future here if he's happy being fourth choice.

 

I agree other than he's currently 3rd choice I'd say, behind CCV and Scales.

Nawrocki definitely has an opportunity to change that though.

 

Aye, but if we're to progress as a club, he's going to be pushed further down the pecking order. He has a future here if he accepts that.
