    Still...we should have kept him on a bit longer if putting on one of Abada or Johnston. They don't offer the cover he does.

    He works his * off and does produce good moments but if he didn’t have his pace he’d be absolutely nowhere near the level of a team like us. Technically he’s * horrific, makes a * of basic crosses and controlling the ball regularly.

    Normally I'd agree, his pressing from the front is invaluable in these games, but I don't think he looks quite back to his normal energy levels yet to go at it the full 90.

    He's been particularly bad recently though. Maybe just not yet up to speed.

    Like he's always been limited technically but he has still provided some usefulness going forward. Set up two different Jota goals v the Huns in past two seasons - one from the left and one from the right.

    Today was as if he'd never seen a ball before.

    he shouldn't be out wide maybe more central or just have a floating position where he just zips about utilising his strengths helping out the team, these are the things he excells at anyways, but taking a 1st touch into feet and trying to beat a man down the wing is defo not.

    Very frustrating with some of his quality of play, but think we really benefitted from him today when things got a bit scrappy, stretched them and helped out Johnston and others defensively.

    This for me is the problem Ange brought in guys like him who’re limited technically but work hard and suited his style this is the case with a few of our squad. So can see why Rodgers said he wants technically good players also think he doesn’t start when Abada is upto speed
