    I was just pointing out how many good defensive things he did. Of course, he won't play as DM now. As for 3 at the back...let's see if we sign the Portuguese LWB. He comes from a team which play a 3-4-3.

    There was a moment shortly before the goal that really impressed me. The ball ricocheted up in or near their box and instead of randomly heading it back in to no one, he nodded it back to a teammate behind him. He couldn't have seen the teammate; but he somehow knew exactly where he was.

    I don't know if he got a shout and reacted instantly to it or if he had scanned just before (he does scan a lot) or if he just read the positions from the state of play or from knowing his teammates or what; but whatever it was, I thought it showed amazing awareness.

    He has lots of little moments like that. We need more clever players like him IMO.

    Honestly wouldn’t have bothered if we sent him back but he’s completely changed my mind.

    Another good performance and cracking goal! Hopefully he can kick on and cement a place in the starting 11
