The way the press and Rangers fans are currently going on you would think they are world beaters.

They have only kept their unbeaten record due to dodgy decisions. They would have dropped more points and lost if they hadn't been given help.

They were still booing the team off the park until just a few games ago as performances were bad. We have given them hope.

Our horrendous collapse has been painted as them being excellent. Was the same with Covid season, press happy to peddle the myth that Rangers were excellent. Even though it was the exact same team that failed constantly and the year after.

I agree he's street's ahead of beale. But he, like beale, has been saved in lot of games since he came in by unbelievable decisions that have gone in their favour.

I mean he's had 10 league games and has been gifted 8 of the softest penalties, that no one else getsinto help them either win or draw.

He's rode his luck plenty of times.

I think it will all depend on our tactics as we have better players than them and with the right tactics we will win. We have to show them no respect and try to dominate them and pressurise them and play the game in their half. If we try to play any kind of cagey, pass the ball about at the back slow stuff then we're asking for trouble.

If you can get there Sheepshaven Bay in Camden is a much better spot to take in the game.

Anybody writing Sevco off is not facing reality. Reality being we are a fairly average team built in a different managers image with the new guy struggling to get a consistent tune. Sevco have some dross but a fairly pragmatic manager with a good track record of getting the best out of what he has. This is going to be a slog. I fully expect them to sit in and try to hit the wide men early on the counter attack. If CCV is out that will be a huge loss to us. We need a big performance a la Feyenoord or Athletico to get the win here in my opinion. I think there will be maybe a goal in it, 1-0 or 2-1 to us. But the 4 big battles will probably revolve around:

Joe Hart vs Jack Butland: I think we can all agree that we need an upgrade on Joe Hart and he has been less than impressive this season. Butland has been solid for Sevco. Really though much of a muchness between the two. Both teams need both keepers to have good days.

James Tavernier vs Daizen Maeda: Taverner is their main threat and Maeda has often done a good job on him. The fear of leaving space for Maeda keeps Tavernier in check. Again this one will go down to who has a good day at the office. Maeda's style though suits playing against someone like Tavernier.

Matt O'Reily vs Todd Cantwell: O'Reily has been player of the season so far this year. He has it all and a big money move must surely await. Given license to be proactive by Rodgers I expect a big game from him. Cantwell is a dangerous player, play him as a No. 10 and he will cause problems. Need to keep space at a premium.

Kyogo vs Conor Goldson: Kyogo is the man for the Glasgow Derby and a true hunskelper. Having a poor season by his astronomical standards but could this be the game to kick start him back to full on skelter. Goldson is the CCV of Rangers but he can be got at. I don't think he can live with Kyogo as evidenced in the past. A good defender but if Kyogo is on it then there is only one winner.

It’s not in Watford, but the * Tavern in Euston is a good Celtic bar, or if you fancy a great CSC, Then the Wimbledon CSC in the Irish centre is great atmosphere on the Derby Games. Enjoy.

Some good points mate but I don't think Rodgers will play Maeda on the left as Palma is nowhere near as effective on the right. I agree he needs to as Maeda:s work rate is ridiculous and will nullify the Hun threat from that side but will Rodgers be prepared to gamble?

    This.

They'd still be howling at the moon about how it isn't good enough over at the * pit if we hadn't dropped so many points.

Their, and the smsm's praise, is a direct result of our failings.

Less than 3 weeks ago they all wanted Cuntwells heid. Now he's gonna skelp us. They wanted Dressers hung from the rafters, now he's gonna turn up. Lunstrum was a disgrace, apparently, now he's back to being a "warrior".

We need to * hump these * into the dirt and remind them of the natural order in Glasgow.

For me, the main danger to us is the ref. We're better than them but their 12th man can make a big difference.

aye but thats always the case ,no doubt we will get the first yellow card ,sevco will boot us up and down the field yet they will get a free every time some * falls over .i hope the crowd puts pressure on every decision the masonic * make .think we will just play a very disciplined game like we did last time and limit the number of chances we give the masons to influence the game

A question for those who have suffered by watching the horde play: how dangerous or harmless is McCausland? Taylor gets targeted by teams, and I can't imagine he'll have a boring 90 minutes tomorrow.
