He’s roughly the same height and stature and I’ve personally got them mixed up on the telly a couple of times. That’s about the extent of the comparison.

MOR is a classy technician with excellent vision, weight of pass and a highlight reel of lock picking passes. Bernardo can be described as industrious at absolute best, to this point anyway. He’s not shown anything other than a sclaffed finish against a * goalkeeper in an attacking sense.

Tbh, I was actually very impressed with him yesterday.

Kid looked like something clicked in his head, and he suddenly realised he needed to actually WORK in a Celtic shirt.

Hopefully better to come from him.

His work rate was excellent yesterday but did he produce the killer pass?
In my opinion no, send him home, we need a young Stan Petrov in the team who is not afraid to run at teams then shoot.

Think the way he brings the ball in and moves on it is similar, they’ve both got excellent close control and an odd gait, but you’re spot on outwith.

my fear about sending him away is who the fills on if Hatate is injured? Possibly Iwata but he's injured and right now we can't deal with 2 injuries to the midfield as Turnbull is too slow, Holm obviously isn't favoured by Rodgers and Kwon is Kwon.

I think of him as promising, he holds on to the ball and moves about well, is pretty good technically. Also has that same knack of O'Riley are winning the ball really well, wee bit more overzealous than O'Riley though as I feel like O'Riley barely commits a foul for the amount of times he sticks a leg in and wins the ball. Bernardo wins it back well but also seems to just barge into guys when pressing them.

We've only really seen a tiny wee amount of him in the League so hard to judge his attacking ability but he has got in and around the box and played wee passes in and now scored.

I feel like if he stays in the team assists and goals will come.

He's probably been harshly judged since we mostly only ever seen him in the CL where we were on the ball a lot less and in the oppositions half like 10% what we are in the League and that he never got a game domestically so people assumed he must not be very good.

But could be he is quite decent.

The best I have seen him, to be honest. Worked his * off.

I still think we need better in there but I would not be against him nailing down a starting place in the next few weeks while Hatate gets back. He’s got to show something to get his permanent move here. I don’t think we will pay the £5m it’s rumoured to be in his option to buy unless he shows slightly more than we are seeing.

He done well though. I’d like a replacement for Turnbull and a significant investment made to do that. O’Riley will likely be away in the summer too so let’s get a proper midfielder in there for the remainder of the season. I’d even accept a LTB again from someone out of favour down south.

I thought he did well. The performance and goal means he has to keep his place on Saturday.

I only ever judge players on watching them closely.

This guy has a bit of class about him that maybe goes a bit unnoticed.

Sometimes one person looks at a player different to another.

There’s something about this guy I really like. He seems unfazed and unflustered at all times, and has a bit of grit and dig to him.

Just think he has a good touch and doesn't give the ball away much.

Think he needs more game time for us to make a call on him tbh

For his age, lack of gametime in a senior capacity I actually think he's going to become a great player. Can see us taking up the buy option if he continues to improve.

Big game on Saturday could change the trajectory of his career, here.

    Has to take his chance.

With Rodgers talking up bringing in another midfielder he really wants to do well in the next 2 games.
