Var really worries for rest of season watching g Dundee highlights and seen we had a stonewaller where kyogo is challenged late in the box and Dundee player misses ball …. Not even a review but they review a possible Dundee penalty right away it’s so blatantly ovb

About time Celtic and other clubs start speaking out of the double standards they seem to officiate between sevco and other clubs .
A pull of a sevco jersey it's a penalty a pull on a other clubs jersey by a sevco player no penalty and no var review it's * corruption.

The refs will have a major part to play in * us up winning this. That's a very. There's going to be some dodgey decisions as we all expect. I think the * will do kyogo in the first few mins like they did last season (or season before) He's so thin a good knock could ruin his whole game and they know it and are renound for it the * are.

I'm always very optimistic in these matches and always go for a high score. This one, I'll be happy with a 1-0 just to get them much needed points back on the board and hope they stumble in there Gane on hand.

They’ll need to play deep and compact. Even at our worst we still have brilliant technicians capable of tearing them to shreds.

we’ve struggled most versus deep ultra defensive units, see Feyenoord of what happens when a team plays football

Going to be very tough, but this is the kind of game I think Rodgers excels in. 3-2 to the good guys.

I think we will comfortably beat them and haven't been worried about it at all, our performances in the European games were decent and we beat them at Ibrox fairly comfortably while playing worse and more of a mess than we are now.

They're still quite * with not much about them going forward or even in defence.

    3-0

Our form this season suggests to me that we'll lose, but for some reason I'm always hopeful of digging out a result against them under Rodgers.

Honestly this one is very difficult to call, could go either way. Our form has improved slightly in the last couple of games but we ne need to win this, don't think a draw suits us at all. If we lose we're in real trouble though.

Our main problem this season has been breaking teams down though. They'll not sit with everycunt in their own half the whole game.

Against better teams like them at Ibrox and the European games we've kept the ball really well and been in good control in those type of games even though one of our problems is probably the fans have no confidence in our own team as most of the time our starting XI looks weak and the bench is shocking.

Their problem is really that their players are poor. I just can't imagine Dessers, McCausland, Cantwell, Barisic, Lundstram, Sterling, Jack etc doing anything against us even Sima against Johnston should be comfortable for Johnston as he's a big clumsy runner and Johnston excels in defending and being able to match and take the ball off guys like that.

I feel like they aren't good enough to attack us and not get torn apart at the back.

I feel like if they try and play football against us, theres no way Taylor, McGregor, O'Riley, Palma, Maeda and Kyogo don't get the better of them and if they sit in against us they're not going to carry much if any threat going forward, that McCausland couldn't lace the boots of Yang or Mikey Johnston and Dessers even against Welsh and Scales he's a big stiff average player.

If we don't win Rodgers should be booted up and down the street outside.

If Lundstram is still out and they have a midfield 3 of Sterling, Cantwell and Dowell, we should be * running all over the top of them.

Agree with this. Some people are overestimating how good they are. They're really a poor side who might have a half-decent manager who have actually struggled against SPL teams and would have lost to Hearts at Ibrox if it wasn't for the ref.

They've also beaten Betis (an upper to mid-table La Liga side) twice. We have to prepare well, especially this will be another start for Welsh in a sea of bench appearances.

For me whoever plays for them we have no excuse not to absolutley dominate them and pin them in their own half. Because we have good technical players who hold a ball well and can control a game well.

They don't have good enough technical players to hold possession against us unless we are absolutley horrifically bad and absolutley * ourselves.

Then on top of that they don't carry enough of a threat on the counter that we should really be worried about them. Our defenders for me will have to have an utter nightmare for their front players to do well, McCausland and Sima should not get a sniff out of Johnston and Taylor and Dessers should be robbed on the ball with ease any time it goes near him. They just don't have enough about them to be troubling us.

If it was Sakala and Kent or their midfield had Davis, Kamara and Aribo or something then you could say they should be dangerous on the counter with that pace and they will be in the game enough as they could keep possession with that midfield.

But the players they have shouldn't be a threat to us and are incapable of holding onto a ball.

It's not like we're going into this game with Ralston, Bernabei, Holm, Iwata, Yang and Mikey Johnston starting. Johnston, Taylor, McGregor, O'Riley, Bernardo, Palma, Maeda and Kyogo theres no excuse not to absolutley dominate this game with 60%+ possession and have them pinned in their own half and sweep up and counters pretty easily.

What worries me most is that our manager and captain both came out after the game yesterday and said how pleased they were with the performance. I get that you can't always play well with key players missing on a dodgy pitch against a team parking the bus and I get that the result was what mattered; but I also think that the comments of the manager and the captain ought to bear some resemblance to reality. Do they really think that was a good performance?

Also, folk saying the Huns are * need to explain how they won their EL group then.

I think the only way they seem to cause us problems the last year or so when we play them is long balls to the likes of say sima etc when we’ve a high line so they can get like a 2v2 etc if our full backs are high up the pitch. Or crosses into the box which we seem to struggle with from say barisic and tavernier… if we can nullify that I’m sure we will outplay them for the majority.

I’m not underestimating them either I do think they’re much better under the new manager but I’ve watched a couple of their games recently and didn’t think they were great. Same can be said for us but in PARKHEAD with a full stadium of Tims and the GB back. I think there’s more in our favour. Plus they’ll be more open than most our other oppositions faced so we should be able to play better football

Why are they so good in Europe if late compared to us but won less trophies domestically ….. they are happy to sit in on those games and hit on the counter something they refuse to do against us because their fans would go ape * they will attack and get punished for it

Their manager is a man brought from the outside, and probably unconcerned with what the fans demand. They will sit in, and hope for a counter or set piece goal. A point would make Clement happy.

I'm going 1-1 or 2-1 us. I'm fully expecting a lot of dives from them to win 'bent' free kicks in dangerous areas as that's what they all do.
