Doesn’t surprise me he is out of contract in the summer. If he is to come in and challenge for the no.1 spot it isn’t inspiring he was pretty average at Peterborough on loan last year.

Nediljko Labrović is the goalie of HNK Rijeka, and is keeping them competitive in the Croatian league. Hard to get caps though, because Livaković is so dominant. But I say we should fix a long-term problem and get this keeper in.

 

Some players from Denmark we sould be looking at

Louicius Don Deedson

22 year old left footed Right Winger, playing for Odense BK in Denmark. Has a decent pedigree at 22, played nearly 100 games and has decent numbers to go along with it at that age. So far this season, he has 8 goals and 1 assist in 15 games. Signed for Odense in the summer window from Hobro in the Danish 1st division, where he was just coming through and finding his feet as a young player. Still had good numbers, scoring 22 goals and registering 8 assists in that time. He's very quick, he's very direct and he's very tricky. Would be an excellent addition in there. Valued at just £700k on Transfer Market but would likely go for far more. One to definitely keep an eye out for to see how he progresses the rest of the season in the top flight in Denmark. His numbers are even more impressive when you see that he has been responsible for over 33% of their goals this season(7/21)... Odense have been very poor this season, also. Currently sitting in 9th place out of 12 in SuperLiga.

Alexander Lind

21 year old Striker playing for Silkeborg. 10 goals and 3 assists in 19 this season so far. Again, at 21 he has excellent pedigree, having played over 70 times for them so far in his career, scoring 20 goals and registering 7 assists in that time. Valued at £2m on Transfer market. Big and Physical, he's an excellent finisher and would definitely thrive here with the amount of chances we make. Looks a very instinctive finisher, like GG. One touch finishes.

Nicolai Vallys

Slightly older at 27 but he has been moved into an attacking midfield role since his move to Brondby and has really thrived this year. 10 goals and 2 assists from midfield this season but he has had a very respectable set of stats in Denmark over the last 3/4 years. 140 appearances for Silkeborg and Brondby, 43 goals and 27 assists. Quite a tall, player with good powerful running ability without being incredibly quick.

 

Alexander Lind is having a good season so could be something there.

Loucius Don Deedson is playing well in a poor OB side, bonus OB with the best warmup top I've seen:



Vallys is a decent player, really plays for the shirt, I can't bring myself to praise him too much as he is is a Brøndby player, and was a right * the last time AGF played them

 

Don Deedsom would be some player here. Would be really exciting. He’s the sort of player who will head off to Portugal or Belgium in a year or so and end up unreal.

Looks a decent enough shot stopper and probably saved more expected goals in that short video than Hart has made in his 2.5 years here.

My concern is I dunno if some 6 foot 7 giant is gonna be the most comfortable with the ball at his feet or playing the sweeper keeper role that Rodgers usually likes his keepers to play. Altho identifying players that don't fit Rodgers style seems to be the key criteria for the scouting department so probably some truth in this one

 

Apparently the peterbrough fans were quite impressed with him. There’s definitely room for improvement there aswell if he’s still only 21. Would still definitely like a more established #1 but this guy could be siegrists replacement maybe rather than harts with a view to rotating with hart and maybe taking over…. Not sure

 

Fabio silva off to the Huns apparantly. Europa League football the clincher as we were very interested as well.

 

Aye I think over next 2 windows we need 2 keepers in. Wouldn't be against 1 like this, a young guy with potential to push to be number 1 providing other is a proper experience keeper I'm his prime.

Bit disconcerting that one of the reliable ITK'ers on KDS (Mikey or whatever) had said we had a deal done for Fabio Silva a while back.. and he's subsequently went to them.
