Form has fell off a cliff this season. Looks woeful at times.

Needs dropped and Tony needs a run of games.

This form continues till the end of season I would be looking to move him on and replacement will be needed.

The few times Ralston has came on he's looked a lot better than Johnston too, albeit that's not a hard barometer to pass currently.

Would give both Johnston and Ralston a decent amount of game time against Dundee and see who to start against the Huns, I'd still lean towards Johnston the now, but it's a dilemma.

Would start johnstone against the Huns even though his form hasn’t been great tbh. He is stronger and better defensively than Tony and is usually well up for it against them. I do think after the Huns game tony should be getting more game time with though to see if he can take the reigns for now

Thought he was going to be a terrific player for us but his form has really dipped recently for one reason or another and I would be tempted to start Ralston against Dundee to get him up to match speed in case he's needed for the hun game

Jekyll and Hyde for a lot of players this season.

He’s been just passable in most games but some glaring mistakes on the front foot. Set a high bar last season and has really struggled to meet it

The fullback position is one of the biggest changes BR has made compared to last season. Maybe it just doesn't suit him?

I guess he is. I just find him uninspiring; but his position is not a priority.

We've been getting nothing out of him going forward at all really, don't remember him hitting a shot or even getting into the box at all this season. No overlapping either even compared to Taylor.

Part of it could be no * has kicked a ball in front of him either. Maeda done fine there a month ago or whenever for a few games but the weekend there was mental the lack of anything happening at all down the right, if it was a better team we'd have struggled to score again.

Livingston were utter * as well but was really almost solely down to Palma that we kept getting decent chances either from him crossing or shooting or even taking set pieces or him involved in moves with McGregor, Bernardo and Taylor to get one of them in a good area.

Johnston and Maeda could have sat on the grass and watched the game on the big screen and hardly anything would have been different, Joe Hart could have joined them.

His form has dipped bigtime this season, just looks so bang average now. Its like he cant make up his mind what to do.
Would still start him v the Huns, he has never let us down against them.

Did he pull up towards the end of the game Saturday?

Think he’s been very unlucky as well with a multitude of chances he’s set up recently that have went nowhere, due to poor finishing or not taking advantage of the position he’s played the ball into early.

And it looks like it’s frustrating and effecting him.

Hopefully with it looking like CCV will finally be good for a proper run of games, not stop start, AJ with that assurance next to him will pick up again.

That Feyernood performance from him is what I want more of, sheer grit and willpower. If it doesn’t pick up by the break, I’d be bringing Ralston in though.

I slightly disagree. It’s not a very top priority, but it’s about number 5 on the wishlist for me, certainly. I’d even put it ahead of a better balance in central midfield atm. Rodgers’ football is pretty dependent on a mobile, wing-back style of RB.

    1) LB, 2) GK, 3) a ST who won’t disappear to an international competition halfway through a season; then 4) a serious upgrade at RB. Need another DM (to take us to a princely total of 2), but at least we have 1 for now when Iwata’s fit.

RB very much a priority, imo.

I'd pick Raldo, he hates them. And even if he makes a mistake you know he'll make up for it.

RB isn’t a priority at all.
