The board had no choice after the last couple of results and how the season is going. Its a case of dammed if they do and damned if they don't.. they needed something to distract us from the * on the pitch and recruitment * and the abuse that was starting to come their way.

Hopefully the GB don't distract us from the biggest problem at the club, the board and help voice the concerns of the wider support.

The club can concentrate on banning the serious threat, like old men shouting at the directors box.

Would love to know this as well. Seems like a very swift resolution on a number of points of disagreement. Board are an even bigger bunch of * than I thought if they’ve thought “*, we’re in the * here, you can come back in on Sat to try & help bail us out”.

I always thought they'd be back after europe but before the hun game, regardless of what results are on the pitch, the board know what they bring in terms of atmosphere and their absence has been noticable, but they were never going to risk them back in for another euro fixture this season on the off chance they did something that triggered another uefa fine.

Domestically I don't think the board ever really give much of a * what banners/displays they come along with, it's only when uefa is watching and there's outside pressure, if they did security simply wouldn't let them bring them in and set them up, the only thing they worry about here is anything that flags up issues with the safety certificate for the standing section, like overcrowding and movement around the area, or the talk about fire exits being forced open that people mentioned on here before the palestine banner took centre stage.

Good news to hear they will be back tomorrow. Have to say I am wondering though what is the agreement that has been reached between them and the board.

I hear you mate. It’s just difficult to trust their motives with respect to any of their actions. Always to suit their own agenda or to benefit/protect them it feels. Bit of transparency isn’t too much to ask for. Either way, it’s good news. Need all the help we can get just now.

I get that mate. What we need though is the fans to get behind Rodgers and the team and knock this * the board * on the head at the moment.

We're no wanting this to descend into protests, anti board chants etc which only distracts from the playing side of things and helps nobody. That happens and, for me, it hands the huns the title.

Too many people think this is just happy clapping but it is so * vital. It cannot be overstated how much of a negative impact it has around the place. Venting frustration is one thing but the constant vitriol that some seem to revel in is so counter productive.

If we can get a great atmosphere, result and performance tomorrow it will put us right back in the driving seat going forward. We get to January without dropping any more points the board will have the chance to redeem themselves. Can only hope they grab that opportunity when it comes.

Great news they are back, the rest of us should be ashamed of ourselves for the atmosphere we’ve failed to create over the last few weeks.

No matter what anyone's views are of the Green Brigade, the stadium is simply not the same without them.

Is there anyone in the know here who can answer this? Surely the club and the GB have had scheduled weekly or at the most monthly discussions over the years?
