With recent comments that Celtic and the scum should leave Scottish football for England for the betterment of Scottish football, what do you think should/would happen to
    1) Us and the huns
    2) Scottish Football
    3) Would England accept us

So you know, Celtic and the huns would have to give 2 full seasons notice of their intent to leave Scottish Football and it can be changed before finalised

If one or both left the league would be greatly diminished would it fall to the levels of say the Irish leagues I don't think so but it would be a struggle for sure , I also think going to England is a non starter most cant compete with the competition as is and wouldn't want another 1 or 2 teams who would eventually overtake 60% of the teams currently playing there

Personally, I have absolutely no interest in joining the EPL/EFL. So, I don't really care if they would accept us or not because I have no desire/interest in being part of their tourist league.

I would prefer we grew the game here but I know it's incredibly difficult. The way I think we do that is to grow the brand and grow the revenue. We aren't going to do that through Sky and we aren't going to do that through any other streaming platform. I think we need to do that ourselves. Which is why I have always been in favour of us having our own TV Streaming platform, where every single game is available from the Premiership to League Two, like Belgium have at the minute.

If we were to leave, I'd prefer we done that through an Atlantic League or something similar. I have no real interest in playing with these * who have only one desire and that is to continually increase the revenue for the bigger clubs and the top 5 leagues.

You remove Celtic and Rangers from the league and it will be awful. I think it would be absolutely fly down the rankings. Anyone who says Celtic and Rangers should leave aren't fans of other clubs. They'd * die off.

The TV Streaming is a good idea
Have the SFA pay us to show our home games after we refuse to sign next SKY contract.
DD has the money to set it up and the money would come rolling in.
Just need better than we have currently got at Celtic TV.
Bring in Sutton and Hartson as commentators for the games.

We have to get out..it's too corrupt..I've come to the conclusion (especially after that cup final) that it's pointless staying when most of the officials are trying to help one team win. Also, I think it would be great for Scottish football. How can it possibly benefit the league when only two teams can win it? What's the point of even supporting another team?

As above i’d be up for merging with other smallish leagues but have no interest in joining the EPL.

The joint ownership of Scottish clubs will hopefully entice a few take overs of clubs, this league badly needs Hibs/Hearts/Aberdeen to get their finger out

Hearts/Hibs stadium merger would be good idea.
Sell both their stadiums and they could use Murrayfield until a new all seater NON plastic pitch stadium is built.
Dundee/Dundee Utd could do the same.
    Aberdeen/ICT same again.

I'm not talking about a 'Celtic TV', 'Rangers TV' set up.. I'm talking about a Scottish Football set up, where every single game is available to be watched online.

The reality is that you will have well over 300,000 people signing up to that because you will have over 150,000 each from Celtic and Rangers. You can then, surely to *, muster up another 100k from all the other teams in Scotland. That's 400,000 subscriptions at say what? £15 a month? That's £72 million a year. That could easily be distributed amongst the leagues fairly. It also means you have a situation where you could make promotion and relegation matter. There are too many teams in this country who are quite happy sitting where they are, taking the cash for being SPFL members. Let's make promotion and relegation worthwhile.

I'd also like to see us reduce the number of leagues from 4 to 3. We have 42 teams in the 4 leagues right now. I think we should be adding some B teams to that, to help promote and bring through youth, with meaningful games.

My idea would be something like this. (as leagues currently stand)

    Premiership
    Celtic
    Rangers
    Hearts
    Hibernian
    Aberdeen
    Kilmarnock
    Motherwell
    St Mirren
    Dundee
    Ross County
    Livingston
    St Johnstone
    Dundee Utd
    Raith Rovers
    Partick Thistle
    Dunfermline

    Championship

    Greenock Morton
    Ayr
    Airdrieoneons
    Inverness CT
    Arbroath
    Queens Park
    Falkirk
    Hamilton
    Cove
    Montrose
    Kelty Hearts
    Alloa
    QOS
    Stirling Albion
    Annan
    FC Edinburgh

    League One
    Stenhouemuir
    Peterhead
    Dumbarton
    Spartans
    Bonnyrigg Rose
    Stranaer
    East Fife
    Forfar
    Elgin
    Clyde
    Celtic B
    Rangers B
    Hearts B
    Hibernian B
    Aberdeen B
    Motherwell B

I'm not an expert in how that would work in terms of games, splits etc. I'm sure there would be ways to do that. With £72m coming in, though, you could split the money to make it more competitive and fair.

The Premiership would take a large chunk of that. At least £57m. You could then split the remaining £15m between the Championship and League One. Say £10m to teams in the championship and £5m to those in League One. I also think you should have a situation where the B teams pay for their participation. So, £250k each or something, which should then go straight into a new National League, where we try and bring together the Highland/Lowland Leagues. Might be too many teams to do that but surely with say £2m investment you could make it work. Especially with the size of our club. I get the travel issues but you it's 5 hours from Annan to * Aberdeen. Hardly an impossible drive to make it work. There would also be some teams who don't have the infrastructure to do it and so would drop back down to more local leagues to play in.

Maybe my ideas are pie in the sky stuff but we are the best supported country in Europe per capita. We should be making sure that money and viewerships goes straight into the * coffers of our own clubs, not to fund * the EPL and everything else Sky TV own.

How do you mean like Belgium have? We have Eleven Sports, which is an Italian company. They sell the games to internet/tv providers. They are actually a nightmare, since games are shown at stupid times. Last was a derby btween Union and RWDM on a Thursday 17.30.

One of the issues we have is there are far too many teams.. I understand the history of the clubs etc..

But say if you had one big team from the Highlands, Dundee, Fife, the other Glasgow clubs, the Borders etc.. it would make a difference..

But, can't see that ever happening or us moving to a league in another country.

I might be mistaken, mate. I read somewhere that you can watch any game of football in Belgium? Is that somewhere else? Apologies if so.

But you can indeed. Just its not an independent platform of the clubs. Its through Elevensports though. Only negative is for the travelling fans. Contract was a good one too! 100odd million!

See, I'd like us to even get away from that. I don't want to be at the mercy of some channel. I want Scottish Football and the rights to be owned by Scottish Football fans.

Think somewhere it was published that 247,000 people were watching the Huns cup final on Sunday. Imagine Scottish Football was the sole beneficiary of all that. Yes, we need to make money but we make sure it goes back into our clubs, not to Sky/BT/Setanta/Viaplay but to us. Our own Streaming Platform.

I’m sure the biggest issue with our TV deal is currently each team only allows 4 home games to be shown on Sky to try and protect attendances.

I’d personally pay £20 per month if it went to Scottish football and was properly distributed.

I wouldn't like us to join the english leagues as our club is mostly hated down there and our travelling support would be hounded however, this country is corrupt for the benefit of one team which is unhealthy to say the least and I would like the chance to tell the SFA to GTF. I wouldn't mind a joint venture with some of the smaller nations like Belgium, Holland and Denmark but I know deep down we are likely to stay in this little bigoted country that is Scotland

I’ve mentioned this before if Celtic and Rangers joined the top English league over time they would become bigger than any other teams down there simply because of the massive fan base that both clubs have got. This would obviously create more income and attract the best players our home games would bring in crowds of over 70,000 the world fan base would grow our stadium would have to expand obviously. I honestly believe that SKY would be desperate to get us on board. Will it happen maybe money talks.

Years ago, I would say that we would be guaranteed to compete for the title down there after several seasons, but the game has changed. I mean, Blackburn Rovers bought a title.

With the introduction of the likes of arab owners and glory hunting fans for the likes of Man City, we would still be a way off success, maybe the odd cup. Sacrificing success is part of being in a competitive league though. I don't think it will ever happen, but if it did, we would need to change our expectancies.

I can’t get my head round Celtic fans who know how corrupt and biased in favour of the huns that Scottish football is and the blatant cheating of refs and want to stay in the league. Baffling
