    The game at Parkhead when they had no fans the atmosphere on the broadcast sounded quite shoddy, everybody I know who was at it were absolutely raving about it. I don’t know if Sky could be liable if they broadcast consistently stuff pre-watershed they shouldn’t, they apologise for swearwords that get picked up.

    I've said plenty of times the board are *, but some of our fans aren't capable of having a conversation around anything to do with them, theres never any grey area, just pull a string in their back and it's "* the board" no matter whats happening, as of they're panto villians who actually want us to fail as a club. It's nonsense.

    Celtic are set to stand their ground in the Old Firm away ticket war and refuse Rangers fans entry into Parkhead for the festive derby showdown.

    Record Sport understands Hoops chiefs are expecting Ibrox bosses to push for an allocation for the December 30 clash and could take their case to the SPFL. The row could be raised at today’s Gers AGM but Celtic have no intention of softening their stance after they refused to take tickets for the encounter at Ibrox earlier in the season.

    It is understood Hoops officials demanded certain guarantees over fan safety after flashpoints on previous clashes – with at least one supporter arrested following the January match for throwing a bottle. But the Parkhead board insisted those promises – which included erecting nets around the away enclosure – were not met and the decision was taken to knock back the offered allocation of around 750 briefs.

    Rangers have received a similar amount of seats at Celtic Park in the past but the Hoops are not going to budge and let Gers fans in until the Ibrox issue is resolved. The Light Blues wrote to the SPFL back in August to lodge their disapproval of Celtic’s plans but the league chiefs couldn’t not step in as the decision had yet to be made official at that stage.

    Does Celtic actually have the authority to refuse offering away tickets? As I understand it, tickets were offered to us for Ibrox but we refused to take them. Surely that then means we have to offer Rangers tickets?

    I think so but what's the worst that's going to happen? We get a fine from the SPFL? Big whoop. We can pay the fine with the additional revenue we will make from our own fans taking the seats.

    * they orcs.

    They turn the sound down...it's as clear as day.

    I also think they do it to us more than them.

    I really don't think our club has highlighted the issues re fan safety, players safety and backroom staff safety at ipox enough. Over the past few years our players have been attacked on the field, players have been hit by objects and glass thrown onto our keeper's penalty box. Our fans (and fans of many other clubs) have been pelted with all sorts of missiles and one of our backroom staff had his head split open by a bottle. Nothing at all has been done by the SFA/SPFL or the police so, our club should stand firm on their decision not to allow those animals in and continually ask why the * no action has been taken against the huns re their behaviour.

    They failed to issue guarantees around the safety of Celtic fans going there so that should automatically invalidate any claim for tickets they want to make for the game at the end of the month.

    It’s not our problem them animals can’t be trusted to behave. It’s mental but sadly not surprising the lack of media attention safety issues that are arising when we go to ibrox.

    Players, fans and staff are being targeted and physically assaulted and barely a peep is made about it. If it was happening in any other country as frequently as it is they’d be playing games behind closed doors every week.

    You can give 0, as the argument can be made it's more reasonable to protect players and staff given the recent spate of attacks from their mob

    I’ll be fuming if they get even a single ticket.

    I can just about tolerate a couple of their club officials getting tickets to the executive lounge in a professional capacity.
