Any win at Ibrox is a success.

Wasn't the same when we were beating Hun sides with Myles Beerman and Joey Barton and lapping it up.

I don't know why that win is now being used to belittle him :giggle1:. Bizarre.

That hun win and the CL home performances have been the highlights.

The games against the rest, have been erratic at best, as his slow tempo just doesn't work against teams that sit in. We've been missing players with pace though injury, so the high press is gone. Kyogo's last 2 chances have come for direct balls forward, yet we are reluctant to do it.

Huns, Hearts and Livingston away and Aberdeen, Atletico Madrid and Hibs at home are all games where we've been excellent.

The rest range from ok to atrocious, essentially 6 games where I think we've looked fluent and good.

Something needs to change, and fast, all the momentum will be with the huns now.

Winning the FA Cup with Leicester must have gone over your head, along with the rest of his CV.

Off topic, but DM me if you want to see me using an umbrella like a cricket bat.

That sounds like a load of steaming horse *. "The Lawwell's played championship manager and signed everyone before Brendan had a say".

Wouldn't surprise me if Brendan leaked this * himself. It's never his fault, ever.

What’s the rest of his CV exactly, enlighten me…

    He’s nowhere near elite level.

Know enough to understand that deals don’t get done in a matter of hours. Not when you have the whole window still to sort them out. So the likelihood is that the majority of our transfers in the summer were well underway before Rodgers arrived. Surely you accept that?

I sure wouldn’t. Enlighten me on what else he’s achieved apart from an FA Cup, a competition half the big teams play their youth in.

Emabrassing the way people are trying to make him into something he’s not. Elite managers don’t get schooled by Derek McInnes and Steven Naismith. They also know how to win in Europe, the proper highest level in club football. 3 games he’s won in his whole career.

There's only a handful of "elite" managers in the game (hence the term) and he sure as * ain't one of them.

So according to you deals take a month to complete. As I said previously, Tilio and Holm were in on july 1st so were probably in the pipeline already. The rest came from mid July onwards, a month after rodgers was appointed. To say he had nothing g to do with any of our summer deal is just blinkered and frankly pure nonsense.

What about the dozens of deals that get done on deadline day in January all over Europe? They all been getting worked on since the start of the window?

I never said he had nothing to do with any of our deals. Palma, Nawrocki and Phillips I’d 100% say are his. Tilio, Holm, Yang & Kwon I don’t think they were. Yang and Kwon have clearly been lined up with Postecoglou in charge.

We weren’t talking about deals that were last day of the window though. We are talking about players we brought in midway through it. These wouldn’t have been done in a few days. There was no need for them to be done as quickly.

I don’t recall anyone blaming Rodgers in the summer regarding our shocking transfers. It was all on the board. What’s changed?

You work with what you have, and the style and identity that the team has is terrible. That's on Rodgers.

Do you really need to ask that one mate..

The shambles of window was meant to help us make an impact in Europe..

This squad with Rodgers at the helm, supposedly elite level manager, should have enough domestically..

We have zero identity at the moment.. and he clearly, so clearly isn't getting the best out of what he has available..

If we weren’t prepared to spend money to bring in players to suit Rodger’s system, we shouldn’t have brought him in to begin with. That’s on the board.

The point I’m making though, is that we all knew back in the summer that our window was a disgrace. Loads of us did, you and I included if I remember correctly. I don’t recall anyone pointing the finger at Rodgers though. It was accepted that the board had done their usual. Brought in project after project and failed to address key areas we are lacking. Yet fast forward a few months and now some seem to be pointing the finger at Rodgers for the poor window. When back in September all the anger was being aimed at the board. Rightly so.

Thing that really disappoints me and I'm sure everyone is that for a manager with his pedigree, experience and wages, you really are expecting him to be able to arrest a dip in form more effectively.

The only sympathy I have for him is the lack of creativity in attacking areas. But even then you're expecting a so called tactical genius to find a way that we'll at least score at home to hearts.

Ralston RB, AJ right wing. Stick Turnbull in as a semi-reverted 10 - task him with going inside the flank rivets with Kyogo and Oh finding the yielded pockets on a dual axis. Let CalMac run the gutter balls while the left wing tempers the opposition's flaxial margins with an oblong side press.

Aye, I don't blame Rodgers for the window and I do blame the board more..

But, Rodgers should be able to have us performing better than he is... his decision making was shambolic yesterday..

We're in a title race and probably aren't favourites now and he plays a big part in that.
