Scales was humphing as well today. Not that many players were decent right enough.

 

If theirs a decent manager out there at the moment without a club I take him till the end of the season as this is a repeat of three seasons ago and we didn't sack Lennon and think the board need to do it now before any more damage is done .

Went to the gym to try and work the anger off but it hasn't worked. The club as a whole always finds a way to shoot itself in the foot. The attitude from board down, is unacceptable for the money people spend.

You could turn it around thou mate and say good teams don’t lose to the 3rd best team in Limassol never mind Cyprus and get bossed at home with them aswell, they are definitely on the up just now and we are 100% regressing and the result in Spain was a good result no 2 ways about it but we went to the shitpit with half a team and beat them, Aberdeen beat them at the shitpit and drew with them at home, they are in a better place than us at the moment but they really aren’t that good a team

 

Sevco fans have been thinking and expecting they will win the title every season since 2016-17 so wouldn’t be too worried about what they think

 

It looked like Johnston and Scales got in a muddle and lost the mark. But the real issue for me is this is not a one off. It is yet more points dropped because we can't defend a set piece, corner kicks mostly.

 

Well that was a disaster. Not only did we lose but we never really ever got going in the game either. Its not like Zander Clake had to have an amazing game and or we missed a bunch of chances. We really didn't create that much and they defended what we did put into their box pretty well for the most part. This past week has been utterly unexplainable. From coasting at half time last weekend to then collapse and actually lose in the second half. Then turn it around and win a very good game against a good Feyenoord side to then turn around and lose at home like that today with what was a pretty toothless display. The only consolation right now is that as bad as we are at the moment we are only 1 point behind most likely but boy we are in trouble there is no doubt about it and this next week will be a real check on the character of this Celtic team no question.

Clancy is a cu*nt , thats not even for debate. But our team should be way above his Hun fuckery, It was the the players who didn't respond! NOT Rodgers! Not the board !
And, by the way, they are very well paid players in the context of the SPFL

Never wanted him back as our manager, and I made no secret of that in the summer. Was very disappointed when we took him back.

Always thought his abilities were massively overrated tbh. And his poor character / loyalty is also an issue too.

It’s laughably predictable, that the usual clowns within our support are avoiding putting the lion’s share of blame on BR, and instead obsessing over the board as usual. Head in the sand stuff from many of them!

BR had £20 odd million to spend in the summer, he bought poorly and is also showing how tactically inept he is both domestically and in Europe. Struggling to break down some very average teams in the league, and showing no real understanding of how to set us up to get results against stronger opponents in the CL.

He has more or less the same group that the fat Aussie was smashing teams with last season in the league, minus Jota… so there is no excuse really. The buck stops with Rodgers. I doubt very much the board will punt him mid season, but I agree if there was a decent manager with experience available I would definitely consider our options… the man is one of the biggest bluffers and spoofers in the game. Stealing a living for many years now!

 

Your other points may be right about Rodgers but let's not kid ourselves that he wasted 20m on poor signings. That's on the board and the recruitment team and it was just as bad the year before.

If its no on him dont nod away and smile at the AGM when being asked about the players and the recruitment model, he has still not said anyone about recruitment which tells me hes either more responsible for this than we think or hes just a shitebag who is happy to go along with the pish hes being served.

 

He said something along the lines of “I’ll work with the players I’m given”. They’re not his players

 

Yes, and also, something along the lines of "I have the final say on players coming in". He has not protested any signing, unlike the Shved comment in his first stint. What this amounts to is reducing the blame of the board by words alone. Not a smart move by Rodgers, because all the players will be considered his.
