Kyogo Furuhashi

Won't go overboard as we know how good he is but today was the worst I've seen him.
That one he shat it at the back post and the golf swing with the left were pathetic.
One he ran back and tried to take their player out and couldn't even move him.
So weak.

 

1 goal in 12 games now

 

Would have thought you’d have to go some to make this guy look depressed but by * we’ve managed it

 

He's looked lost for weeks. We've turned the most lethal striker in the country, into a passenger.

 

It's an indictment of where we are as a club really.

We aren't able to bring either of our strikers into the game in any way.

 

That miss just after half-time changed the game completely. That goes in and we have another 40+ minutes to get another two goals, which I think we do.

No doubt Rodgers system is hindering him, but he's been absolutely woeful the last few months.

 

What Kyogo does is convert or create chances others wouldn't He's always been guilty of missing easier chances though.

 

He doesn't look himself, he really does need a goal

 

He was utterly woeful. Couldn’t pass a ball, couldn’t finish.

Sick of the defence he gets too. He was * abysmal and has been for weeks.

 

If I was him I'd be getting my agent to get me the * out of this current cesspit of a club. Aye, he misses chances, but that's because we're creating one chance every 10 games for him. We've * ruined him.

 

Attitude is as * stinking as his 1st touch

 

Rodgers isnt looking for a back up for Lyogo in January hes looking for a replacrment striker. That much is now clear

 

There's been a few games where he has made the runs looking for the pass but, as per fecking usual, our players have turned back or inside with the ball and missed the opportunity to put him in. You can actually see his head go down and he ends up drifting out of the game. As another poster said, we have ruined what was a lethal striker in a matter of weeks under Rodgers

 

Yeah he is making the runs and he's not getting the ball but he then has to do something else.
Keeps making the same run despite the fact that the passes aren't coming. That's either down to tactics or players not having ability/bravery to play that pass. I don't think it's a coincidence taht he's not scored since hatate got injured, the 1 guy who does look to play those passes.

However, he then needs to be smarter, realise that he's not gonna get that pass and find other ways to get on the ball.

At the moment he looks like a player who is only capable of playing 1 style of football.

Wouldnt be suprised in the slightest if he's away by start of next season.

 

Can forgive the odd mistake but not the lack of effort.

Suspect will be out the door in January

 

I blame one person for Kyogo's form and it ain't Kyogo. Rodgers has * ruined him.

 

Kyogo had a poor patch last season and came out of it. It's not just his performance that is down, it's the whole squad. Guys last year that were proven winners now can't beat Hearts at home. It's a bigger problem than just Kyogo.

 

Look at his reaction when he missed the big chance Palma set up for him, he’s not in a happy place. He needs a goal. He’s still running, still creating space, balls not coming quite as often but when it does, he’s also not making it count.

 

If the "happiest" guy in the team is the most unhappiest.....well, I think that tells you everything you need to know.

 

Hard to disagree with this. Absolutely no defence for the sitter he missed, atrocious stuff
