I think he could have gotten another crack at PL, many managers have post relegation but this is him * now.

I blame the board more but he's a fraud and he can get to *.

He never should have been allowed back after what he did.

He also has one of the most padded records in our history. The huns were absolutely pish and he barely scraped 80 points in his 2nd season and lennon had to come in to finish the 3rd.

Terrible window - Lost Jota, Starfelt and Mooy, recruited disgracefully
In Transition - Struggling to adapt after Ange and many players regressing under Rodgers
Competitions- Out the League Cup 1st round, out of Europe before Christmas, thrown away 7 point lead in the league...

His only saving grace is the Huns started terribly and the top of the table is still tight..

Can't see how he turns it around, but he'll need to win every game to the window..

Look at the state of the starting eleven today. That’s not down to Rodgers. Half of that team shouldn’t be pulling on the jersey. The root of the problem is the board and how we recruited in the summer. Could our football be much better, it probably could. But the starting eleven and options we have today are woeful. That’s not down to Rodgers.

This is why i think he needs to walk before he gets sacked...There is no way he will get a job anywhere once sacked from Celtic 6 months in.

Shows the value in sending a guy out to play a full season of games in our league to gain that experience, rather than have 5 bit part appearances off our bench in a season ‘just incase we need him’

If we allowed Welsh to do that two years ago, we would be reaping the benefits of that majorly just now for me.

Would you swap half that team for Hearts starting XI?

His tactics are outdated. His style is to slow for the modern game.

A league defeat is a blip, back-to-back league defeats with one at home and not even managing to register a * single goal, that is a big problem.

That odd win wedged between, taking on a fired-up Feyenoord. Probably just the Champions League buzz giving the players a boost. Now, back to league business, relying on Rodgers' motivational talk. Well, this is the outcome!

It’s a tricky one because the squad is just nowhere near it. Arguably as bad as Covid season. I think the manager was sold something else which can be the only reason he came back.

You can talk about Starfelt/Jota but the long and short of it is that we are in 2023 and relying on guys like Taylor, Bernabei, Turnbull, Mikey Johnstone, Scales, James Forrest, Tony Ralston to get us through the league and CL…it’s frankly scandalous to be honest.

We needed to strengthen the squad from last year anyway as all the other teams around have done and continue to develop. We needed massive investment for the CL before a ball was kicked this season. We needed upgrades on the likes of Starfelt, Maeda, Hart but now we are in a worse position!

This board has really * up our potential and our European exploits have been nothing short of a disgrace over the last decade.

New blood is integral at board level but it’s just not going to happen. It’s a dictatorial, archaic board at Celtic - we as fans have no voice or avenues of recourse. They have an extraordinary amount of power.

Talking pish about desire and mentality.

He's probably ruined the mentality of half the guys he's using. Bernabei has went from never being on the bench and not playing since August to coming on as a winger to save us. Forrest has been pretty much shown to be behind Mikey Johnston and Yang and now Bernabei and still getting on.

Turnbull, Holm and Bernadro have all be snubbed.

Oh also, although being used now played about 90 minutes the first 3 month of the season and probably though he doesn't rate me im done.

Ralston also cannot buy a game unless we are in desperado situations.

Lagerbielke also, shown to be behind Phillips and Welsh, comes on and scores a winner then doesn't get on the bench.

We've had to rely on our squad players a lot so far this season and most of them probably think the manager doesn't rate them and they'll be punted in Janaury. Shocking stuff.

Ange had to deal with squad players and a lot of *, but he treated them well, if guys played ok they stayed in the team, everyone even the bench guys were kept ticking over and fresh by getting minutes and everyone probably felt well involved and happy to do their part. Then in transfer windows he was ruthless really and then did his business.

We need to stop with this 'look who we had on the pitch' or 'the board didn't back him'.

I agree with all those statements. However, our squad is more than capable with dealing with anything in the league easily and all of our players walk into any other team.

The players Rodgers has bought have been * horrific.

Must be the quickest we’ve ever lost a 7 points lead. 7 infront to 1 behind in 4/5 games méntal.

He’s been hung out to dry, but he’s certainly not blameless unfortunately.

Genuinely have no idea why he came back.

He’s not short of a few bob and he knew the mindset of the charlatans he’d need to work with again.

We signed 9 players, and 1 is maybe a success.

The entire situation is absolutely bizarre.

We relied on these exact same players and worse 2 years ago though. That excuse does NOT WASH anymore. I'll keep posting it until the penny drops. We won domestic games with:

    Hart
    Ralston CCV Starfelt Scales
    McGregor Bitton Turnbull
    Juranovic Abada Montgomery

    and

    Barkas
    Welsh CCV Starfelt Scales
    Juranovic Bitton McCarthy
    Rogic
    Abada Dawson

Check the squads in the lead up to the winter break that season. We even played Turnbull as a striker ffs. You cannot tell me with a straight face that what we've had at our disposal recently is worse than that. Two atrocious sets of players to choose from but with one big difference - the manager.

In our last six league games we've picked up ten points from a possible eighteen.

    Sack him.
