He's been picking that 3rd midfielder from a hat all season.

Exactly , Forrest is a far better option than Mickey Johnstone despite the fact he's lost most of what it takes to be a first team regular.

    It's a fukin mindbender .

    Same boat.

Didn't want him back and wanted others on our list.

Backed him as he was the manager but he's done nothing to actually unite the club behind him. He's just made those that don't like him, right and those that did want him, uninspired.

    * him.

No point sacking him when the real problem is the board and who runs the club.

Rodgers is a manager well above the level we work at. He's not the issue.

Yes not gonna win us the champions leagues of course not.
But the club for decades has been subpar where it matters most.

They know and have proven, domestic football is a cake walk when we want to. They refuse to push on for Europe though

Sack Rodgers, all we do is bring in Scott brown or the likes, throw a bit of money in his first season to rejuvenate the squad, they go on to win the league, but don't do anything in Europe. The club then refuses to fund the squad any more and the manager can't take us forward.

Happened to Lennon first time. Rodgers first time and eventually happened with Ange as well.

The managers not the * problem.

Rodgers isn’t the problem. Changing him won’t change a thing. The squad is awful. That’s not on Rodgers.

Agreed. He was afforded some grace for the transfer window (even though he oversaw it) and beating the huns who were led by a charlatan but no way does he deserve to be here after watching the slop he's served up for months.

We were getting lucky and scraping by before but his position is untenable now for me. Exiting the league cup in the first round, multiple draws against utter dross, can't create for *, weak at the back, two domestic defeats on the bounce, another * poor display in Europe, baffling team selections and substitutes, players woefully off form. I can go on and on.

    Has to go.

So if he had Shankland Grant Alan Forrest etc. would he have won. Sure the board are bad but he should at least be winning at home in Scotland.

You can look back to the summer recruitment, totally bizzare that the Board never backed him.

The fact we are even talking about who is the better option between Forrest and Mikey Johnston tells its own story.

We thought that about the Huns too right? They changed their manager and they are now better than us.

Rodgers has slowed down our play, made us easy to play against.

Yeah but were playing against a team with Alan Forrest so we should still win. Blame the board for being unable to compete in Europe

I agree here, but he's making some bizarre changes...even on the bench.

    Three problems with him:

    1. Seems unable to retain the lessons that should have been learned through previous games. McGregor has contributed much more to our attack when Iwata was behind him. But in the absence of Iwata, he simply moved Calmac back, while compounding this error by adding Turnbull to O'Riley, when these two should be mutually exclusive.

    2. Poor psychology and team management. We won against Feyenoord because there was no pressure. Instead of that acting as a morale booster, we looked like Lennon's team in his last year.

    3. He has no control over events or a coherent plan. He threw Bernabei on because he really didn't know what could be done to fix the issues. He's desperate.

The squad is awful but it's still enough to be beating a wee junkie faced Naismiths diet mob and Killie from 1 up and cruising to collapse like that..

I don't wanna hear anything about sticking up from him. The board didn't back him and I credited our European performances because of it but no this..

Scandalous some of his selections, subs and game management..
