I don't rate MJ but he's the only winger fit who is in some sort of form, excluding Palma.

Lagerbielke over Welsh is probably the only poisiton you have grounds to question.

If this is form for Mikey Johnston, he should retire, he's * awful. Would rather try something new than see him or Forrest start ever again

For all his faults I actually think he's been fukin rinsed by this board absolutely shafted, he's caught between a rock and a hard place.

Massive win for him. Second half was really good.

Considering the squad across the 6 games to get 4 points and a win is about as good as we could hope for tbh and Atletico aside I think he’s set us up far better than we were last season…

Aye I've had zero issues with him in Europe this year, even the 6-0, we don't lose anywhere near that if it's 11 v 11.

Domestically I'd like him to do better, and tonight's result should hopefully spurn us on to do so.

Listen we rode our luck at times tonight, but I'll give him credit for getting that win. Huge monkey off the back.

Let's hope we can make some good signings in January and use this win to kick on in the league now.

In the last decade, we've won 2 CL games and BR won both of them.

Needs to take that fight into the league. At 1-1 and the way we were playing, I would gladly have seen the back of him tonight. Don't know what happened but we ended the game with more fight and aggression that we've seen most of this season.

Thats what you get with champions league level managers. Now left give him a champions league level team to win more than one.

To be fair he's been in charge for 4 years of the 10 so not too surprising

Only man in a decade. Some going to do it not once but twice. Don't get results like that with wild coughing aussie *. :fear:

He has a better points per game ratio than anyone else in that period too.

To be fair, the wild coughing Aussie * said he'd given up. So not a fair comparison.

Injuries, red cards and a * summer window absolutely gave him a mountain to climb before a ball was kicked. Unlucky as * against Lazio at home too, that scunnered us fans let alone the players.

Still not pleased with the domestic form though but hopefully this gives us a lift moving forward with some quality coming back from injuries ah the right time.

    January window still massive.
