If lagerbielke and Nawrocki are surplus to requirements that is £7 million worth of talent bombed out in 6 months. The summer was truly atrocious in regards recruitment. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see McKenna brought in in January. CCV, Scales, McKenna and Welsh the 4 central Defenders going forward.

 

Don't particularly understand nawrocki being surplus to requirements.. he's looked decent when he's played.

Mark Lawwell should be be sacked.. * away upwards of 10 million.

Take the article with a pinch of salt at the moment. Rodgers unlikely to have given names out to the press. It’s more likely they’ve thrown a few names in that aren’t featuring to generate clicks. McCarthy and Bernabei are obvious examples they can use.

 

Taking that at face value, when it’s likely pish and guesswork from the Record. If Nawrocki is one, just what the * has he done in training, must be some crazy *.

I think that reads as ‘obviously Celtic want them to * off’ and speculation for Nawrocki and Lagerbielke cos Rodgers publicly gave them a rocket.

Can’t see us trying to shift them in January, it’d be a massive loss. It’s not what we do, even if we wanted them to * a couple months after dishing out quite significant fees for Celtic (not in the wider football world but for us) history and habit tells us that we’ll keep them for 3 years, loan them out and pay them out the contract when we can’t get a fee. It’s the Celtic Way.

Is McCarthy still alive btw? And still got 18 months left on his deal ffs madness

Thats before we actually strengthening FFS , every game the rest of this month is a must win for us to be 5 points ahead when we should honestly be double digits ahead

 

Theres literally about 7 or 8 players you would keep, so much * dross.

Palma aside, you could punt every other summer signing and it would make no difference to the strength of the team.

That’s an absolute disgrace at any level. Even more so when you consider the position we were in on and off the pitch.

 

Definitely need a left-back, creative midfielder, wide player and striker in January. We should be spending about £20million.

Even though Abada, Maeda and Hatate may be back soon it could happen again to Kyogo, Oh and Palma or O'Riley and we're in the same situation.

Feels like months since we had a decent bench to turn to, i'd even have put Bernabei on if he was on the bench today before most of the others who came on and in midfield we couldnt even really make a sub even the wide players who came on they never came on to change anything they're just making up the numbers.

 

Remember the talk of how many times we were gona break our transfer record, jashari, rieder, merlin, tete * LOL.

Ended up with absolute dross bargain bin signings.

I expect no different in january.

 

Tbh I wouldn't be giving this cabbage any money to spend in january, he will only exacerbate the situation.
