Don't hold your breath. Rodgers is diabolical in the transfer market. We can debate his influence on transfers all we like but it's a trend that's followed him throughout his career.

I mean we just had our worst summer in years. Is it just a coincidence that he oversaw it? I mean Nat Phillips ffs. He can't spot a defender to save his life, I said the same before he came back.

4 months we had in the summer to recruit and that’s what was served up, people are kidding themselves on if they think January will be productive.

Not to mention all of our strikers might be away to the Asia cup, it’s good that we’ve prepared for such events though eh?

And many fans bought it. Some of us saw that he was well past his sell by date but got ridiculed for suggesting he was a busted flush.

His performance in the dugout so far is vindicating. We've been absolutely awful for the vast majority since he walked back through those doors.

People would be giving credit if signings were good.
If they weren't good enough he should grow a pair. He's come here happy with the recruitment system, he has to take responsibility.

The vast majority of our managers’ recruitment is *.

The main outlier is when they bring in players they know.

    Sinclair, Kyogo, Hatate.

    Spot the common denominator.

Getting in his own players isn't solving much. Already in his second season in his first stint we were starting to struggle. Rodgers had a worse second season than Ange. Rodgers' football is found out already. Better players may improve the situation a bit to win the league. But we will continue to struggle as tactics to nullify Rodgers' teams are already there and easy for any SPFL manager to adopt.

I think his style is not suited for us anymore. It's boring football that is not as successful as it once was. Barca can't play anymore tiki taka for a reason. I rather exchange Rodgers with a more tactical astute and modern manager. And maybe someone who can spot a defender. Unlike Brendan "Philips is a great defender" Rodgers.

Unless I picked him up wrong in his post match interview he was asked about recruitment in January and it sounded like he said about working with what he has here? Surely not :help:

    I wouldn’t.

I don’t give him credit for Palma, as much as I don’t blame him for Yang.

Guy didn’t have a * clue who they were.

Loses against the zombies then alot of the support will want his head for it but the board and the recruitment need to get the * finger out or we are handling the zombies a £50 million plus cheque.

I think the term he's left with no choice is something you can blame Rodgers for as well. The board was exactly the same in his first stint. He knew he has to ask for guarantees concerning the recruitment. Otherwise he would get what he now did. How can you be so naive as a so called elite manager. You make a clown of yourself if you trink you're elite but tham do the same mistake again.

Rodgers knew how the board acts that's why he needs to take the same amount of responsibility as them.

Todays second half was the worst all season, but we've rarely been fluent in games. Killie twice, Motherwell twice, St Johnstone at home.

We got away with it at Fir Park, but not at home. We know that certain players are better off playing a different style, but we persist with the same old tactics. The manager should be lifting the players for the second half, but it seemed only McInnes did for them, and he had no answer.

If you are getting schooled twice by Derek McInnes, then surely you should step back and assess your own philosophy?

The fact is he should be getting much more out of these players. His team selections and subs are baffling. He can't change a game in our favour. Humiliated again in Europe. Gave up one trophy in August. Dire performances every other week. Soft at the back. Tedious football. Players have regressed. Haven't won 3 games in a row in the league. He can't change a game in our favour. 2 points ahead a * hun team who had a diabolical start to the season which resulted in them sacking their manager.

We're in a title race now when we should be out of sight. We're sleepwalking towards a disaster (again). The board and Rodgers are both culpable for this * show, I wish they'd all * off so we can start again.

He's used a 3-man formation in his first stint. Time to dust that off. 2 up top, Oh behind Kyogo, Mikey right WB, Palma at LWB. But even Bernie might be OK there.

He refused to reassess his tactics at both Liverpool and Leicester... And they sacked him for it.

But we were told "aye he nearly won the league with Liverpool", "aye but he won the FA cup with Leicester".

The bottom line is that any opposition manager with a half a brain can read him like a * children's pop up book.
His tactics are outdated, and every player who was on to something special under Ange, has regressed to the point of comedy. With the obvious exception of MoR of course.

Cal looks wrecked. Kyogo looks a shadow. Even Taylor, who thrived under Ange to a certain degree, looks like he's won a raffle. We've 8m in CB's in the bench and he's playing a * loanee who's a major liability.

    Elite manager my * *.

I've never thought he was elite. Even when we were sweeping up domestically. He is vastly overrated by the majority of Celtic fans - he's done in England but we begged him back like a tragic ex-girlfriend and paid him handsomely to do so.

He probably can't believe his luck. Wish he went to Saudi.

Tbf Phillips was a last ditch emergency loan. Don't think he'd have intended on bringing him here.

Playing him ahead of others is the mental thing. Don't get what's going on.

Yeah I remember that Liverpool run. He threw away a 3 goal lead to Crystal Palace if I remember right. The huns may be *, but they are better than they were during his last time here, so he needs to up his game fast, or risk losing the majority of the fanbase.

Someone mentioned it may be part of his contract, that he needs to play a certain percentage of games? Mental if true.
