Needs his own players, January window, winter break, regroup and go again and we will pull away. No panic yet. Can assess him after that cos if it doesn't work then something is wrong. Rodgers has past form of making a point to the board. Hope this was it.

I didn't want him because our play under him for his last 18 months was terrible to watch and for me it was obvious that at that time we were a team in decline.
I was told he was an elite manager. I don't think elite managers get sacked by Liverpool having won nothing then get Leicester relegated a few years after they won the league and get sacked.
I was told he'll guarantee domestic success - how is that working out.
And I was told he improves players. I think every player from Hart to Kyogo has got worse.

When you look at the other managers we were linked with .farke and Enzo peps old assistant .playing great attractive football scoring for fun what if springs to mind couldn't be any worse . I said in other thread I'm getting Lou macari vibes of brenden ..we look clueless all over pitch

 

His recruitment when celtic wad not great .... his recruitment at Leicester was awful... all this when he brings his own players most likely make the team worse.

When he left celtic the football he played wasn't enjoyable to watch. He went to Leicester again his football was flat and boring too watch .

The one I wanted was Iraola. He's now got Bournemouth playing good football and winning. We had so many better options.

 

I really don't know. He plays Iwata, and in generally the team we all wanted to see. We played well until we scored. And then...a black hole. I've no idea what's going on with Rodgers- and what has been going in the dressing room. Has he ruined the atmosphere in these few months?

Rodger’s does NOT have an an eye for a player. Phillips being the perfect example. Why sign players and then come out a few months later and question if they are good enough?

 

Interview was poor on the BBC. Lacking consistency and not press resistance. He sounded flat.

This forum was almost unanimously against the appointment of Maresca and for the most part delighted with Rodgers.

If you think he’s went out and identified Gustaf Lagerbielke and demanded he needs him for the heart of his defence, I don’t know what to tell you mate.

You may say he needs to sign off on all recruits, and you’d probably be right, but if he didn’t he’d end up with no *. He’s left with no choice really.
