What has he actually done since he left us the last time to merit being labelled a good appointment ?

Guy is living off past glories. Football has moved on from the sideways passing * and he hasn't adapted.

We should have had the game sewn up in the first, so wasteful in front of goal..

Total failure on his part there, played ok for first half an hour then let the game totally run away from us. Even got a chance at redemption when we never conceded at the start of the second half.

The only job it looks like he’s come back to do is pick up where he had left of in what looked like throwing away the league that season too.

Im the same mate, no more excuses for him now tbh. Whatever about the team being poor right now, we still have so much more quality than your killies, st Johnstones etc

    Aye, I agree.

He spoke of the improvements to the recruitment system when he came in.

I can’t get my head around why he came back, especially given his reasons for leaving.

There are players scattered through the league better than those named.

Even if we win the league this season I'd have major doubts going forward, brendans teams usually start strong and get worse over time.

Needs to have one * of a January

The summer recruitment was horrific but that doesn't excuse the mistakes he's making.

You cannot watch that 2nd half and do absolutely nothing to change it til the 75th minute mark.

He can keep taking pot-shots at the lack of quality in the squad but he should also be reflecting on his own input. Two defeats in 4 months to a pish Kilmarnock team and no evidence to suggest he learned anything from the 1st.

From what should've been a comfortable procession to another League, he's turned it into a race. Farcical.

We should've been three or four clear of them in the first half.

Within the first 10mins of the second half you could tell that we needed to do something and he didn't.

You could tell after they scored that they were more likely to grab another than we were.

    He did nothing.

I blame the players as well but Rodgers did nothing to influence that game at any point.

If he ever has Nat Phillips in a match day squad again, I'd sack him on the spot.

Well half a season in he's destroyed our attacking ability, his possession stats will be good but our football has been terrible to watch this season, no chance of getting Ange back but we should look to getting the PSV manager Bosz ASAP

Didn't want him in the summer, don't want him now. Sick of the sight of him and how deflated he makes me about our football.

To think we could have ended up with Maresca or Farioli if we'd shown even a slight * sliver of bravery during the summer.

That's the thing James, any one who watched us last season just needs to copy that intensity. The coaches and the players are the same so they ought to know what to do in these situations.

In an ideal world the board and Rodgers would get to *.

I detest the board but Rodgers is also culpable for how poor we've been this season.

Think the * just gave up on that game near the end. I'd hope we get someone else in end of season.

It's annoying as one thing I've always felt he was good at was reacting to games and making required changes.

Suppose there's not a load of options available to him but he had to hook Phillips very least.
