Brendan needs to get to work and turn this form around quickly. If we're second come January he should be gone.

    Aye I'm the same.

Today was terrible and he didn't do anything to try and atop it.

I get that's nowhere near our strongest side but even still. Woeful. Like really worrying

To me the majority of this side look scared to be playing for celtic. I'm not joking when I say that Yang, Taylor, etc wouldn't get a game even for Killie. They have better players in both those positions.

Since when was that the standard for celtic.

Football has moved on, his slow, ponderous side to side possession football has been sussed!

He isnt blameless as this shower of * board has hung him out to dry.

club being ran into the ground.

Patience with him has almost run out.

He’s overseeing absolutely dire football and embarrassing results every other week.

He was never going to be granted time due to circumstances but even with the players at his disposal just now he's making a * of it. Kyogo not scored in ages not even in the team anymore. Nat Phillips in ahead of Lagerbielke and Nawrocki. Johnston over Yang who he signed.

Yes the squad is nowhere near where it should be but it is more than capable of performing miles better than he has them.

    Kyogo
    Johnston
    Taylor
    Mcgregor (to an extent)

have all been totally nullified with his supposed style. Who can we honestly say has improved since he came in ? Possibly O'Riley

Didn't want him back, still struggle to take anything he says seriously.

But I will stand by my opinion that whilst he's here, we do not lose the league

This mob were sitting at 6th place at the start of the day. Losing to THAT twice in half a season is unacceptable.

The squad is poor? Maybe in terms of past Celtic squads but we completely dwarf every club in Scotland combined.

There's no excuses for turning in performances like today.

We played well against Aberdeen and at home to Atletico. That's it so far this season.

    * boring * performances every week.

Dropped points to a struggling St Johnstone and a * poor Motherwell team, Kilmarnock and a Hibs team that couldn't buy a point when we faced them.

    Christ.

    Awful.

I've defended him too but it's been terrible to watch and we should be out of sight but we've allowed this to become a title race.

Strangely, I'm not sure what he could have done, other than maybe go 3 at the back? There was no way we could play our usual football on that pitch and weather. But it simply isn't acceptable to lose.

All his * from before aside, I thought he was the right choice when he came back in terms on reputation and record before.

Looking at the transition from Ange’s tactics and style to this. From energetic and relentless to lethargic and fragile. A team that appeared to have potential and excited fans to uninspiring and boring.

Fair to say, I was wrong.

Like I say, not without his faults, but Joe Hart, Greg Taylor, Liam Scales, Nat Phillips, Mikey Johnston, Yang, James Forrest, probably Oh, are all Hearts, Hibs or Aberdeen level players.

I don’t think I’m being over dramatic by saying that. I truly believe it.

What do they work on in training genuinely ? I don't see any style or tempo or anything at all that resembles a plan. We could barely muster an attack in that second half. He stood watching it and refused to change til they equalised which had been coming for the previous half an hour

    Half agree, half disagree.

He HAS been hung out to dry. But he also shouldn't have been near the job in the first * place.

People expected Invincible Rodgers. They got Lennon 2.2. Those of us who disagreed with his appointment got * pelters, about elite managers and accused being doom merchants.

I was willing to give him this window.

    Not anymore.

He needs to go. By mutual consent. Give the winter transfer kitty to a new manager who can see when a team is on its * in real time and can * change it.

I don't disagree the recruitment has been chronic but he sat at the top table of the AGM and defended the recruitment then performances went from bad to worse and he's started throwing out jabs about quality. He can't have it both ways

    The squad is awful.

Richest we've ever been, no qualifiers in the summer, off the back of a treble and look at the signings brought in the summer.

With us it's always one step forward, ten steps back. That's something which predates Rodgers I'm afraid.

The Huns never really get better, we just get considerably worse and regress to the level of the other SPL dross.

That's what's happening here. I've seen this many, many times already.

Even if we scrape the league this season, it'll be only a matter of time before it's squandered to a dismal Hun team.

It's not just the style of play.

We can't defend set pieces, and rarely score from them too. Spending that money on CB's, then playing off form defenders, is poor recruitment and management. If he can't function without the players he wants, he should walk and let someone come in, who would adapt their tactics to our players strengths.
