Yes, the old Rodgers is back all right, side to side negative slow play, turgid boring football, when he inherited a treble winning side minus Jota, he said he had a great squad, didnt take him long to start claiming he needs quality to beat motherwell, hibs and the like. He has regressed the team dramatically, Taylor, Ralston have gone from being good players under Ange, to people now saying they should never be near the squad.
Kyogo played out of position, Rodgers has skipped his first season performances at his clubs and taken us straight to his second season performances.
Thank * that mob are rank rotten, but that only papers over our cracks.

No one is saying Taylor and Ralston shouldn't be anywhere near the squad. I think most would agree that Taylor and Ralston are good enough to deputise when needed, they just shouldn't be first choice. Everyone wanted Taylor to be replaced under Ange too.

Kyogo isn't playing out of position, he's being asked to bring others into play and get more involved in the game. If he can't do that, we will find someone who can.

Have the games been good? No, we've needed to be better and we will be. Once he gets the players he needs.

Agreed with some of the above. Definitely need him to be a bit more arrogant and have that swagger back.

His return has been flat for various reasons. Still plenty time to liven it up.

Given the injuries we’ve had and the general poor level of performance in a lot of games, I think he’s done well to remain unbeaten in the league so far. Not convinced another manager would have achieved that with the players available.

You are correct. And I can't think of (m)any Celtic managers in my lifetime that would have won at Ibrox with the matchday squad we had in September.

I think today proved we can definitely play some really good football under him.

Still a long way to go of course, but one change in midfield and we look a lot better, add a couple of players in January and we have the makings of a very good side.

There's been plenty signs of it to be fair..

Even though we've been scudded in Europe, I've particularly took comfort in how he's had some of those lineups playing in the majority of our games..

He hasn't been backed well yet, with sufficient quality. When/if he is, you'll see us really start to motor..

Things to iron out....and I think we will. We just need some quality in the door...simple as that. Some athleticism, physicality and quality..

I think he prefers a more physical no9 up top tbh.

Oh has looked good under him when given an opportunity.

If we are playing with one up top, I think Oh is probably a better option just because of the way we are playing. Kyogo was much better suited in Ange’s system to Rodgers. I still think we could be playing both domestically. It would mean going to a 3 at the back though for me.

Thus is such a conundrum for me. What you suggest seems like absolutely the right thing to do, but changing a system in amongst an intensive run of games could end in disaster. It would need to be carefully worked on over a decent period of time for the players yo be comfortable with it.

Would definitely like to think Rodgers has it in his thoughts, however.
