Tilio to one side, it's worth watching for the young bloke in the middle - very classy player but never caught his name.

What position would you say Tilios most natural one is? I’ve seen * saying LW, RW and in the middle. Seems a bit wee just now for the middle but that doesn’t always become a factor.

    Under 23s - Olympic team.

He only got ten minutes at the end. Showed a couple of flashes - mainly his pace - but nothing exciting. Made a couple of good runs but didn't get the ball.

Best position is wide (left or right) but he can play as a #10, which is where he came on today.

That's good he got a wee run out, not writing the boy off yet..still hoping he's gonna surprise the lot of us and that's him clear of injuries now.

Celtic forgotten man Marco Tilio will consider a January loan if he doesn’t get first-team action before January.

The 22-year-old made his first appearance of the season for the Australian under-23s when he came off the bench to help them beat Qatar 2-1 in a friendly at the weekend. Tilio, who has seven full caps for the Socceroos, is hoping his involvement with the Olympicroos will see him kick on his return to Celtic in a bid to break into Brendan Rodgers’ first-team

If it doesn’t then he would be open to a possible loan deal. The weekend was a moment of rare action for Tilio as he has still to make a first-team appearance for Celtic. The winger arrived at Celtic from Melbourne City in the summer but an early injury left him sidelined and playing catch-up. Tilio was also signed by former manager Ange Postecoglouwith Rodgers now having taken over at the helm.

The Australian has found himself behind Luis Palma, Daizen Maeda, James Forrest and Jyunjun Yang in the fight for the wide positions. Rodgers admitted that some of his ring-rusty squad might look to go and get more game time come January

Sorry mate, knew nothing at all about him, but thought I'd read that he'd been bought with the b-team in mind, with him to push for 1st team inclusion later when/if he settled. I'd placed him in the talented project folder and filed him away with all the others for a later date...

This transfer stinks for me that’s 3 million if our money shifted to city group that will go down as legitimate income for ffp maybe I am being cynical ….if the two team rule with sfa gets loosened it’s only a matter of time

Don't think he looked out of place when he came on. Not a lot to go on but he looked lively.

Certainly enough there for him to get another run out off the bench soon.
