Those stats are telling. No surprise that Abada is posting the best numbers despite barely playing, because he had a way of playing with Kyogo that was established under Ange.

Palma isn't the type that suits Kyogo as he likes to cut in more, won't run in behind, and Rodgers tactics are regardless negating that kind of play.

Maeda last season will have created a lot more for Kyogo, just by the nature of our football. He suits football that looks for balls in behind, using his pace and cutting it back from the byline. Basically what we don't do now.

We need another 2, maybe 3 creative forward players.

Really hope we can get him better involved in the coming weeks. Looks a frustrated figure at times.

He looked the same under Ange fairly often. He does need much better service than he’s currently receiving. Can’t wait until Maeda and Palma are back.

Palma and Kyogo’s thinking hasn’t quite connected as yet, Palma’s been checking back when Kyogo’s made an early run or putting an early ball in when Kyogo’s hung back for space.

When they suss out each others game, we’ll see the amount of chances we have skyrocket.

And hopefully, soon, we’ll see Abada on the right who’s linked up well from day dot with Kyogo, who is also a * monster at finding space in the box. Palma’s creativity with the two of them moving into space attacking the box is a goldmine attacking wise. If we use it properly

Kyogo's performances been underwhelming over a couple of matches now. He usually puts away chances with ease, like the one when he was played on by Calmac. Wasn't very influential in the build up play either. As a manager you can't drop him, as he is our best attacker by a mile. Hope he get his steam going again soon.

No one notices his runs until it's too late.

Telling him to drop back or play deeper takes away everything out his game that's effective.

Overall tactics aside, I think he's really missing Maeda and Abada, their very direct runs behind/between the CB and FB is definitely a miss, makes it easier for opposition defence to sit on him and not be pulled wide as much to open up space. Maeda especially when we're off the ball, pressing from the front together.

He takes some * doings eh? Don’t know why it seems worse this season but he’s getting absolutely battered about.

His team mates need to man the * up and start dishing out pay back or even just backing him up when defenders twice his size are bullying him.

Well, we don't have a bruiser in midfield, and Kyogo is trying to hold up the ball (when he shouldn't be trying to), and this is what you get.

Again today he was playing on the shoulder, making great runs with space in behind and nobody lifted their head and seen it. Especially the 1st half.

It's frustrating but nothing new, even when we were flying under Ange he was constantly making runs, dipping in and out from offside, and nobody picking him out.

Where this is true he also was guilty of being wasteful with the chances he did get the one he was through 1 on 1 it was a good save but he should be looking to clip that over the keeper every time there and he has no chance.

Also later in the game he had Oh in a great position and he decided to try shoot through a crowd of bodies.

I thought against Motherwell it was more an issue that he wasn’t being picked out and it still happened today, however I actually thought Kyogo was pretty poor himself today.

Given the lack of good wingers I think he would benefit from playing up top with Oh who has the physicality to play back to goal and get Kyogo running off him, rather than dropping him too deep when Oh comes on.

Before Kyogo came here he never played as a lone striker it was always off the left or in a front two.

Looked far better with Oh on the pitch and I'm sure BR noticed it too. Interesting to see if he starts both on Wednesday.

Feel sorry for him, he had it all under Ange and as predicted by many Rodgers had ruined him a bit. Not even close to the player of the last 2 seasons.

    Bullshit!!

At the moment he simply looks like a player that looked great in 1 very specific system.

Thought there was a noticeable drop off when he came on last night. 1st time ball was played up to him just on half way line he took a dreadful touch and we lost possession. Simply can't hold the ball up even Maeda looked better in the role in pre season
