If you’re not going to use him sell him for big money. Simple as that. Wasted in this system.

    Mate, Kyogo's not the problem.

A striker offering absolutely nothing is a major problem no matter how likeable he may be.

He was a great striker in 1 type of system, he doesn't fit this one.

    Why?

It's not working and manager isnt gonna change his system so get what we can and go and get a striker capable of playing the way the manger wants to play.

It's football mate, players come and go. He was great under last manager (domestically) but he's gone now.

I've supported Rodgers all season and I still support his right to experiment domestically; but in the CL, you don't screw around. If one of your best players doesn't suit your system, you need a different system until you get players who do.

You're making Kyogo sound like Greg Taylor here, mate. He's a really good player.

He was worse in Europe under Ange.

He is mate and that's why I'm so * off with him.
The manager has changed, the style of play has changed but nobody seems to have told Kyogo.

Good players adapt to different systems. At the moment he hasn't, a played of his ability needs to do so much more.

We can argue the merits of Rodgers but we know he's an arrangement *, he isn't gonna change his style and copy Ange, it's probably * him off enough that he's having to play with an inverted full back to cover the failings of the wee * bag Taylor until January.

I think with Palma, Abada, Hatate back in the side he's a different animal.

He didn't fit the system last year either to be fair. Plenty of folk were on here at this time last year calling for Jacko to play in these games

    Kyogo. A phenomenon
Anyone who can’t see the sheer waste of the best player in Scotland unfolding before our eyes needs help.

A good manager adapts style to suit the players at his disposal unless it’s rip up and start again.

Rodgers instead has imposed his turgid style on the team and kyogo is a shadow of the threat so far this season.

Factor in Hatate missing and you are left with what we are seeing. AKA pish.

We have lacked quality service into him barring MOR, that’s the issue. He’s shown, tangibly, the results when it clicks. Even in Europe.

Palma and Maeda would have made a world of difference to him tonight, one with quality and the other to back up the press from the front.

Rodgers has nullified him completely. He was * tonight, but you have to use him effectively. He's shown, with chances, he can score in Scotland and in Europe. We just aren't creating any for him.

Still, I would love for us to buy another striker akin to Giakoumakis. It's clear we need a different option for some of these games. Oh isn't the answer I don't think.

I love Kyogo but he's thwarted pretty easily at times.

I love him but he shouldn’t be immune to criticism and other players blamed for his mistakes. Yes we could be providing him with far more service but it’s no one else’s fault he lost the ball when he had acres of space costing us a goal or didn’t make more of the couple half chances he did have.

He’s not been great this season and it’s not solely down to Rodgers, his tactics or the other players around him.

Am I wide off the mark by saying his attitude last night was honkin? Tells a lot when Oh was trying to encourage him to press with him - really strange last night

Agree with some on here saying he needed to do more last night to help the midfield out and run down the flanks but some of the comments saying it's alright if he goes are outrageous. Complete over exaggeration

It's disappointing to see really, the tactics we are playing just aren't suited to Kyogo.

In fact I feel that could be said for a fair few players that were here prior to Rodgers coming back.

But the way he seemed to freeze, looking down at the ball, clueless... then get dispossessed which leads to the 1st goal is just school boy stuff.

That pitiful attempt to receive the ball last night sent me over the edge. What the * was he doing? I've not seen it back but remember his just standing there for about 3 seconds and the guy comes in, takes the ball and they go up the park and score. I was * furious man.

I love the wee * but it ain't happening for him the now with the system we're playing. Think I'd rather try get good money for him in January than seeing him keeo blowing hot and cold.

On the other hand we could bring in a few quality players that can utilise his talents, so will be interesting to see how things pan out over the next couple of months.

Quality of wingers has deceased. The fact Abada is highest despite being out for 3 months is brutal. He's a big loss and obviously so is Jota.
Palma is looking good but no doubt a different style to jota.

Would be interesting to see Jota stats from last season.

Would be suprised if Maedas are any better

2 good overlapping fullbacks or at least a left back and return of Abada should help
