We should just collect the money for qualifying and not bother turning up to play.. board would be happy to save money on flights and hotels. Done watching usi In Europe, an absolute waste of time and quite frankly embarrassing

In theory, the fans would be * off enough to put financial pressure on the board, or get violent, and scare the board into action. However, the major flaw in that argument is the process of appointing Lennon's successor. We went with a cheap CFG option and merely lucked out he was great in SPFL terms.

What would it take to scare the board into * off, I don't know.

    Hard luck story again.

Sick of this * woe is me *. As average a CL group as I've seen us in and we are badly under equipped to even muster a win in it. €1.5m for a win and our board are content with going a 38 game league season to win as much prize money beating Scottish dross.

We're a cash cow for this board and nothing more. Expect to play an elite competition with mediocre setup, and we wonder why we can't compete?

Btw I'm venting here about the big picture not just tonight's game as I actually think we did a lot right there but with a weak squad and a massive lack of belief (that for me comes from the top down) I'm just sick of seeing us having our pants pulled down and claiming hard luck or * refereeing.

How about we make our own luck, invest in some quality players who are of good pedigree and give it a proper go for a change? Maybe even sneak a win or a third place spot and go on a run? Which in turn generates interest and profits and gate money all of which apeases our cash hungry board..

Nah we'll settle for being the also rans who live off former glories...

    That’s what we do.

We were led to believe that when we had UCL qualification guaranteed and were comfortably selling players we would finally make sure we had a solid competitive squad.

Instead we’ve done the opposite. Send in a completely inadequate squad to protect the bottom line. Only spend money on players we think might make profit in the future.

It’s mad how we almost left this * behind and now we’ve doubled down on it. Board must have shat themselves seeing their profit margin slightly threatened.

I detect a major flaw in your thinking there m8. Our board won't be buying "good and big" and that's why we finished bottom of our CL group and could struggle to win the league with our current squad

Can't really criticise the performance I don't think. Overall we stayed in the game well, were calm on the ball, never really were under any pressure at any point and were calm and in the game.

Only thing missing was a better attacking threat but was never likely with Forrest, Bernardo and Yang and then from the bench all you have is Oh really.

Abada, Maeda, Hatate and Palma would probaby have gave us a real good chance of winning that, the limited options done us I think.

Nothing will ever change until the fans continuously make their opinions known about the board and their strategy.

The decision to ban the GB was genius, there will be no banners or chanting to highlight their absolute dereliction of duty.

The only powerful message is protest or hitting them where it hurts in the pocket. I would be more inclined to stage genuine protests.

    * scunnered, genuinely don’t think i’ll watch us in this competition next season if we win the league. We didn’t play badly there but it’s 2/3 pieces of quality at the 10-15m quid bracket that we’re missing and have been for years, we can all see it, so why can’t the board?

Said this a few times now. The money for a win in the CL is astronomical. A bit of ambition in the summer and a few bits of quality added and we could have easily picked up a win or two.

Folk talk about us not being able to attract better players. Again, if we showed some ambition and could actually stay in Europe beyond Xmas, attracting players would be easier than it is. So in my opinion, that again falls back on us having zero ambition.

We are a disgrace in Europe.
