Felt we should have taken Kyogo off around the 80th minute. Wasn't in the game at all. Would have replaced him with Holm and gone back to original shape. Game was becoming stretched and the MF were looking tired. Would have made us tighter but still have OH up top.

We were holding our own until the last 10 minutes and had we been more clinical in front of goal then should have scored, our naivety let us down yet again.

 

I actually thought we did well in the game before of course we do the typical Celtic thing and throw all the hard work down the swanny. We definitely are missing some serious quality for this level though. Taylor is not good enough. Scales is having a very good season but at this level, not for me. Bernardo really is meh- not good or bad at anything. Forrest and Yang. Deary me.

There are mitigating factors, Hatate; Palma and Maeda are huge misses. But overall this is on the Board and their lack of strategy. A squad full of punts and this is where it will get you.

 

I came home when it was still 0-0. I looked at the stats and saw that Lazio had 18 shots on goal, while we had 4-5? But we had 54% possession. That sums it up for me how far we are down the wrong road tactically.

 

I just can’t get my head around it. How the * have we went into the champions league after last season and we’re playing MJ, Turnbull, Taylor, Hart but we sold a player for £25m.
