Will be interesting to see how it develops.

What we as fans see we need and what Celtic sign will no doubt so opposed.

Can see us signing a bunch of central midfielders and maybe a RW.

Priorities like LB and GK won't even get touched.

Hahahaha that's the most Celtic thing.

Desperately need a new left back and keeper. None of this challenging for first place, they should be walking into the team ahead of Hart and Taylor.

I’ll believe the new keeper stuff when he’s wearing the shirt and standing between the posts.

One of the hardest positions to fill… especially in January - unless you find an out-of-practice disgruntled benchwarmer from somewhere - which is not going to be far from the best solution anyway.

Perhaps the plc have a target in mind and moves already underway…

But nooo… the cynic in me says no.
That would be far too organised.

A LB, a DMC, and a striker would literally have me doing * Murtyesque handstands.

    That's how bad it's got.

That I'm literally ready to randy marsh myself over the remote possibility that our cash rich club will do the bare * minimum, and about 4 windows too * late.

The LB situation just cannot continue. It simply can't. Taylors weaknesses have been routinely exposed in Europe, and now Rodgers is on charge, even SPL jobbers are targeting him.

If we walk out of this window without a * LB I'll be leaving a big steamy * on Lawells driveway.

My sister's and I stopped paying for my oul ones ST after the 10iar season (mostly because he said he was done), but if they * this window I'm boycotting every financial aspect of being a supporter.
No more Celtic babygrows for friends new babies, no more Celtic shirts for the nephews, no more polo shirts for the da, no more * Celtic mugs and glasses for other mates collections. No more one game a year when I get home once a year. I'm * done.

    Not a penny more.

Could easily lose 5 or 6 players while bringing in 2 or 3 QUALITY players in. So really the net spend wouldn't even be that huge.

    Priorities:

GK - someone who can come in and either start straight away or sit behind Hart for the rest of the season but not a project GK.

LB - Taylor isn't terrible but Bernabei might be so we need a quality LB to come in and take that spot straight away. Taylor is an able back up and will still get game time with how often we play.

Winger/striker - a quality player who can slot in at either position as we probably can't get a quality player who's happy to sit in behind Kyogo but if they have enough game time on the wing as well we can look to spend some money on this player.

Rodgers should at least have an idea, he must know what is needed and also who needs to either go permanently or on loan. We wony get rid of much dead wood, but we will get will get some out on loan.

"Look, January was always going to be a tough window to get some quality players in..."

Now read that in a Brendan voice...come back here in February and it'll be word for word.

Let's be honest though, is a number 1 goalie going to leave in the Jan window to come here?

No, I don't think we will get one til next summer. While I think we need one I think there is positions such as a winger/striker, LB and AM requires ahead of it.

GK and LB would the two thay are most needed in terms of improvement to the starting 11.

I personally think everywhere else is dependent on who leaves or who is called up for international duty for the Asia Cup.

The two main names we've seen linked are Kelleher and Lunin, who are both backup keepers at big clubs. I can't see us getting Kelleher in January but could easily see the Lunin deal happening with Courtouis coming back from injury.

I don't believe them for a second, it's just the usual generic pish that gets spouted when they realise that large factions of the support are unhappy with them (except for the likes of Double Dutch). We heard it all when Rodgers first came back, they are professional bullshitters.

We should have addressed these positions in the Summer. Some of us were vehement in our concerns about the direction we were heading in. We saw it from a country * mile away and unsurprisingly proven right once again. We didn't strengthen because they are a bunch of incompetent/negligent arseholes who don't give a * about running Celtic like a proper football club. It's been the status quo for the better part of 15 years, give or take a few fleeting periods of false dawns.

Do we really think they will change all of a sudden and bring in "quality" during January? Ange's first winter window was clearly an outlier, and those signings bar O'Riley were possible because he knew the Japanese market. It had * all to do with Desmond, Nicholson, the Lawwell's, or anyone else involved in our "scouting" set-up.

It's too * late anyway. We're out of Europe bar a minor miracle. Unless they pick up some genuine gems (unlikely given our recent success rate of "projects"), no one of note is coming to Celtic in January. I actually think there's more chance of losing the likes of Hatate and O'Riley than bringing first-team players in. It shouldn't be the case, but I don't even trust them to locate the players needed, let alone get them over the line.

I'd be fed up with it all if I wasn't absolutely numb to it, given how predictable it is every single year.
