Miovski looks a far more sensible punt to me and exactly the type of striker we are crying out for to compliment Kyogo.

Weve got a ton of left wingers. What we needed in the summer was another quality right winger. Last thing we need right now is to lose Abada.

Maeda is a useful player, Yang looks better on the left. MJ did well when he came on yesterday (won a pen and should have had an assist.)

Yang and mikey johnston arent good enough its as simple as that and shouldnt be playing for celtic.

The squad has many examples of this where 2/3 useless players are taking up spots, all taking a wage and contributing nothing.

The whole recruitment teams needs a serious overhaul, it was the reason rodgers walked the first time, i honestly dont know why he came back.

Miovski with a better goal record, taller and capable of offering the type of option that Kyogo doesnt? Kvistgaarden with a poorer goal record from a foreign league and small in stature being added to an already relatively short squad..

what does that have to do with Lawell?!

We need at least three quality additions btw.

Tbf to Yang, he's only 21, new to the country and has only just arrived.

I wouldn't be getting rid of him. I'd be happy with Abada, Palma, Yang and A.Nother

    I agree.

The problem is Yang has been unfairly thrown into the spotlight. If he was 21 out of the Celtic academy no one would seriously expect him to unlock defences every week. The idea would be laughable.

It's why the, "Let's see how good Yang is before we criticise the window" patter in the summer window was obviously ridiculous. Imagine putting that type of pressure and expectation on a kid at a club the size of Celtic.

Abada has been one of the best very young players we've brought in in terms of numbers in the last decade or so, but even he is wildly inconsistent, often disappearing when we need him in big games - as he should be - and as Yang should be at that age and experience level.

I'm fine with Yang being here but he should've been brought in alongside an experienced winger and that's before Jota left. The fact Tilio was also brought in compounds the problem.

But as I keep saying, the strategy is clearly to buy players we think we can make profit on vs. buying what the team needs to move up a level.

I have watched him a few times this season, the latest being last night. I don't think he is anywhere near what we need in a player, he was anonymous the whole game and showed nothing that led me to think he would be a quality signing for us.

And his team lost 2 nil to my Danish team KSDH

Pretty much a player who was on form and attracted interest.

Doesn't strike me as a natural no9 type.

We can do a lot better for the money they'd be wanting.

We could do a lot better than this guy or miovski for 5-6 mill if we actually bothered to scout properly

He isn’t he is very much a second striker or plays on either flank for the U21 Danish team. At Brondby they tend to play a front 2 and he plays with a big target man, poacher striker most of the time.

When Brondby change to a front 3 he tends to play off the right.

I think Kvistgaarden could be a decent backup to Kyogo. Not for the quoted £8.5m though.

If the stated fees are accurate, then it’s that unusual a few outright straight away we as a club are absolutely sure of it, and I’ve never seen this guy play so I can’t comment on that at all.

But I can remember us as fans making these comments about Ivan Toney and Gary Hooper, there was a thread kicking about here from years ago for Jamie Vardy before he moved up the leagues similar was being said.

If we do put a budget behind getting this guy, after missing out on him in the summer with the goalposts apparently being moved on us, we are so utterly sure about this one we’re putting the dough behind it. We rarely do that, Eddy, CCV, Jota were the guys above £5m recently and all were backed up by loans first to make sure they were worth that.

Christopher Jullien the only guy outwith that, and up until his injury he was making the difference for us.

I don’t see the appeal really, and especially not at the prices quoted.
