Feel sorry for him at this point.

Seems a good lad and tries his best, but he’s woefully out of his depth at this level.

Slow, weak, positionally all over the gaff, and blowing out his * every week due to playing about 80 games a season thanks to our phenomenal recruitment.

Played an absolute * of a pass that was nowhere near anyone and went out for a goal kick then screamed at Palma for not getting to it.

Had a hand in 3 goals and scored another yet this * useless wee * had the cheek to moan at him for not getting on end of his * pass.

    * sick of him

LB and GK have to be top priorities in January.

Feels harsh digging him out after winning 6-0 but I thought he was the weak link again today. He's quite simply a poor defender.

    So did Aberdeen.

Every goal kick was towards his side. Every team views him as the weak link

Not as bad as he was at start of the season. I think he needed time to adapt back from Ange's system but I still think we need someone else to compete against him.

Exposed again tonight repeatedly. He should be out back up and no more. He's absolutely hit his ceiling.

Couldn’t help notice both the first two Norwegian goals came from crosses from Taylors side, I’ve seen him targeted in CL so I suppose this was always a possibility, hoping I’m wrong and these have just been coincidental

Reckon this coming game is the game to rest him, poor * has been flogged recently, 2 x 90 min for Scotland too.
WE should play wee Benny on Saturday.
Sure getting a result against Well shouldn't be dependent on who is playing LB.

I like Taylor. Seems a good guy, plays his heart out.

Unfortunately he's simply not good enough. Not as a first choice LB, and absolutely nowhere near the level required to defend, let alone be compete in the CL.

Would be happy to see him as a 2nd choice, similar to Ralston, good "young" SPL level player with a raft of experience on his back.

In fact, he's an ideal fit for such a role.

But continuing on with him basically being the first name on the team sheet is shamblolic from a recruitment perspective.
It's a position that should've been sorted YEARS ago, ppl maybe point to Ange giving Berna a chance, but realistically he was/ is nothing more than a project player.

It's absolutely ESSENTIAL this position gets sorted asap, as every opp we face is targeting his defensive limitations.

Totally agree with the majority that say he is a genuine guy trying his best but he is simply not good enough for us or Scotland, mid championship side down south is his true level.

Definitely better as back up for left back and possibly centre mid in a crisis.

He’s a better centre mid than left back.

That’s essentially where he was playing in his two best seasons for us.

He’s too slow, weak, and positionally inept to be playing left back. Gets caught with the ball inside him constantly at the higher level.

He’s also a complete hinderance to Palma who would thrive even more with a constant and intelligent overlapping full back.

As good as Palma has been, he’s been incredibly predictable, mainly due to no option being on his outside.

Totally agree with your regarding Palma. Imagine someone like Izzy when he first come here. Someone like that and Palma would be incredible together. Palma has got the vision and weight of pass to link up brilliantly with a fullback like that. Taylor just isn’t that player.

Genuinely would just play Bernabei ahead of him. At least you get something of an attacking threat from him.

Just feels bad at this point talking about his performance tbh, he excelled under Ange's system but any other system and he'll struggle.

Sorry mate, there’s no way in gods earth should Bernabei be in our squad never mind team. And don’t say he’s better than Taylor because, as has been proven, he is mikes worse.

Neither are the answer but you at least get something from Bernabei going forward and in games like that he'd have been more useful than Taylor.

Not a chance, the guy is absolutely brutal with no positional sense. Funny how when someone is out injured or dropped all of a sudden they become superstars.
