I would like to see him keep his place for Motherwell, right now it is likely to be Turnbull or Holm. Turnbull is on a good scoring run but I don’t believe has a long term future at the club beyond the end of the season.

I think Holm is an intelligent and talented player, who we will see the best of when he develops an understanding with the players around him. That will only come with minutes. I actually felt he grew into the Aberdeen game after a slow start, then he was hooked.

Other than building his physique and getting minutes he has a bit of everything else, good close control, can play a range of passes, has that ability to get on the half turn and accelerate away times tackles pretty well (bar Feyenoord) and a decent shot on him.

To see the best of him I think we need to play him.

Aye, I think he's definitely more suited to a deeper role..

Saw up to the start of second half.. he was ok. Completely at fault for our first goal. Ran down an alley outside his box and had ball taken off him. Few nice touches.. game played at pedestrian pace on artificial pitch.. certainly looks like he seems himself more defensive than maybe I had hoped

Aye, he definitely has the potential to be a box to box player, has a good engine and burst of speed.. only thing we've not seen is an end product in the final 3rd.. most of the good work we've seen has been tackling, short passing etc.. so we'll see how he goes, looking forward to watching him develop.. think we've got a player there.

We can only guess at the end of the day but we don’t know his remit or role on the pitch, the County game it seemed clear go on, effect the game, make * happen and get into attacking areas for the win.

Other times he’s been as deep as McGregor helping control a game and making spaces for O’Riley.

It’s probably a balance, judging by BR’s comments, and he’ll learn that balance.

McGregor next to him is a brilliant guy to help him find that, because he’s done it in every role we’ve gave him, and there’s been a fuckton of different roles he’s been lumbered with. Most of them * have said immediately we have found his position:56:

He's been unlucky with a couple of shots in recent games. He'll bag a goal soon enough.

Not getting with him. Game at home against a poor side and can't do it. A missed opportunity. Young and has talent but in small flashes only. He needs to step up.

Id like to see him get loaned to maybe aberdeen or a different spfl team, starting every week, toughening up, like ajer going to killie.
