Birthday, despite being an * who's knocking 40. Got MK1, EA FC 24 from my boy, a night in a hotel and my boy baked me a cake.

Listening to my 16 year old daughter banging the Wolfetones out her stereo in her room.

Its usually some bump bump bump music that is far too loud and far too pish. Im always shouting up to her to turn the bastarding thing down cause we have old neighbours.

I cant bring myself to tell her to turn down the rebs though. Its brilliant to see that the kids have taken in all those years of careful programming, blasting the Wolfetones in the motor and she was just wee.

Celtic Symphony anaw....and then Broad Black Brimmer. Cannae beat it. Friday morning and its full pelt. Yasssss!!!

Although Im no sure about they Dropkick Murphys. They are some kinda American punk band that are trying to be Irish. She is now playing a very bad version of Fields of Athenrye....which I believe is sung by them.

Paddy Reilly needs to go and have a word with these *.....they are clearly not getting it

During a process where it’s supposed to do that? Fairly normal thing to be happy about I suppose.

Remove ALL the old sealant - cut out as much as poss then brush on a 'softener' for the rest. Wash the gap with a bleachy solution to kill any mould spores still lurking. Rinse and leave to dry. Wipe with methylated spirit to degrease the surfaces. That's your prep done. Cut your tube of sealant parallel with the tube ie NOT at an angle. Hold the gun at 90 degrees to the wall for as long as is possible and go fairly slowly trying to 'push' sealant into the gap. Use a shaping tool, it truly is a marvellous thing for getting a good finish. Do NOT use masking tape, soapy water or your fingertip. In other words, pay attention to this fella:

    Good luck.
