Frightening talent. If he's mentally there he will go very very far.. quick, technically good, tenacious.. exciting times.

100%. You don't develop a talent like his by giving him 20 minutes here and there. The boy has shown he has enough to start and the potential to be absolutely top drawer.

Felt sorry for him being taken off as he was having a good game.

Played well and probably a bit unfortunate to go off as early as he did.

Plan was probably to give him at least 60 mins but suffered due to us having to make sub for Kyogo when we did and not wanting to then use up another of our sub breaks so quickly after.

Thought he was doing fine. Right at the start of the second half he tried to beat a couple of men and lost the ball and was subbed soon after. Wonder if Brendan wasn't having that and whipped him off for it.
I mean probably not but got me thinking.

Was playing ok today but the game was passing him by a little. Still I thought it must have been an injury he had as surely game time is what he needs?

Thought it was a weird sub so soon after half time. Game probably stopped at the 48th min.

Assuming the plan was to take him off around 60th minute mark and because of the Kyogo situation, he didn’t want to waste a substitute window.

Maybe just me but I think he was very quiet. If Turnbull puts in that performance I think we're underwhelmed and using it as reasons he shouldn't start. He wasn't bad or anything but don't really think he grabbed his chance!

I think him going off, as Doofy says was just a substitute window thing.

I think he needs to play the role McGregor plays in games where the opposition sit with ten men behind the ball. Looked like he struggled in that more advanced role with little space.

Or maybe jus in general. Looked his best sitting further back in his last appearance.

Aye I thought he was fine without really standing out. Didn't do much wrong but didn't see any of the exciting moments he's produced in cameos.

Yeah I don’t think he was that great to be honest, game passed him by so don’t think he can have too much complaints being subbed when he was even if it was probably 10 minutes earlier than would have been ideal.

Also while I’m at it, how the * could Kyogos not be classed as a concussion sub? I’d have thought that’s the very definition of one. Instead we had to waste a sub window cause their hatchet man couldn’t take getting beat

Thought it was a steady and tidy performance. Nothing special but didn't do anything wrong either, think there is more to come from Holm

Good to get the start, could have scored. Still very young and plenty time to develop.

Pretty sure a concussion sub does not affect your sub window quota.

If that was the case then it is just an example of how the ref team can discreetly direct their influence on the outcome of matches.
