Just makes that stupid tackle even worse, hopefully he learns to stop lunging into people, the speed he goes in always makes tackles look a lot worse than they actually are.

He's a physical freak. Wouldn't be surprised to see him back inside a month.

Every single one of us would have been seething if he doesn’t go for that challenge, to a man. One of the only things that could fully unite our fanbase.

I was just going to post this, problem is we only have two strikers, unless he wants to put Palma up top.
Weirdly I also think Yang could do a turn up top, he’s surprisingly physical, good at linking play with others and has a good first touch.

That's really bad news for us. He does a lot more than people realise.

    * * man. Ah well........if everything isnt going our way then at least we'll get a penalty and that'll fix everything......its whats happening across the city....they dont need fit players, strategy or tactics.....they have penalties to rely on..........surely it'll be the same for us

Not against trying a different formation, but of there's one thing Yang lacks it's physicality..

Really? Honestly keep an eye on him next time he’s on, he wins a lot of aerial duels and muscles people off the ball constantly, he’s solid.

What he can do is go down very easy when he thinks he’s losing the ball, that’s intentional though, and needs to get coached out of him.

Yet another injury while Greg Taylor remains fully fit.

    We have no luck whatsoever

Aye, he can be easily bodied off the ball for me, strength is something he needs to add, he's still young tho..

Horrendous news. We need to hope Yang and Johnston can step up in his absence. It might even mean we see Tilio make some squads going forward. We really need Forrest to make his experience count too.

The Maeda injury can only mean one thing. Mikey 'the magnificent' Johnston and his array of tricks and good intentions....until he also......gets injured and then is out for 6 weeks

On the ball, running with it, I agree. Back to a defender, challenging for the ball, and in the air he’s been surprisingly physically strong for me.

Which makes me think, it’s another thing to coach into him, he is equipped to be able to but isn’t using it properly shoulder to shoulder with the ball. There’s been a few times when he has been outpacing and outmuscling a defender, and tried to do something fancy to beat him without that wee battle, putting himself off balance and flooring it.

His strength has really surprised me though, similarly Palma who’s a tank shoulder to shoulder on the ball btw.
