Could that not be where the aggressive behaviour or whatever bollocks they came away with initially could come in to play.

I've said on here before but I just don't think it's as simple as being dead against the board (On this sole issue) or dead against the GB both sides have made fairly valid points and it's clear a discussion is needed between both parties. I get the impression in some regards the GB have been given an inch and taken a mile but at the same time I don't in any way disagree that flying a national flag is worthy of punishment especially considering what's been happening in the last couple of years

I also don't think the GB have the unanimous support of those in the stadium anymore at least in my experience anyway and it tended to used to be the older generation who weren't in favour of them but it seems to be more widespread now but then again at the same time I still think overall more would back the GB than the board.

By the strictest definition, "genocide" is the intentional destruction of a national, ethnic or religious group in whole or in part. Israel is not attempting to do that. They are attempting to push the Palestinian people out of their homeland. That is ethnic cleansing.

The document you cite from UNISPAL says the following:

In other words, one organisation within the UN (UNISPAL) believes that the people of Gaza are at risk of genocide. Given the scale of the bombing and worse what that far-right lunatic said about the nuclear option (saying that alone should see him in the Hague), that is a reasonable position. That is not the same as saying that the UN as a whole have defined what Israel is currently doing as a genocide. So far, it isn't. Moreover, this document is a deeply partisan intervention using rhetoric to try to increase pressure for a ceasefire and humanitarian aid. This is a very laudable goal and I support it; but what it's not is an impartial assessment by an impartial body.

Could be mate. Surely questions need to be asked though if a group can break in on a match day. If the GB could do it, surely any group could break in. If that’s what happened of course. Then if they did break in, why weren’t the police contacted? Wouldn’t exactly have been hard to catch them. Setting up a display in the corner of the ground.

Mate I know you're partial to nitpicking on wee details and running with it for days on end, but I've no the time or patience for it. The GB have been acting Billy big baws for years, now that the club are pulling them on it they and their blinkered supporters are spitting the dummy and crying victim over it.

Just because I'm no dancing to your tune doesn't mean you've caught me out like you seem to think you have, am just wise to your penchant for taking things on mad tangents. There are plenty folk up for a marathon back and forth but I'm no one of them :50:

Bottom line is the GB have got their arses felt for being daft wee neds, you don't need to cry about it.

Haha. No crying here buddy. Just watching you dig yourself a hole and struggling to get your way out. I know you can’t answer my question as it would go against your agenda. I gave you an opportunity to point out anything I’ve said that isn’t true as well, which you didn’t so I can only assume you know what I’m saying is factually correct. Coupled with your inability to answer the question regarding why the GB weren’t banned before the Atletico game, I think you know deep down the real reason behind this.

Anything to add on our security issues at Celtic Park after the group were able to break in and set up a display unchallenged? On a match day when the area is swarming with police, security and stewards.

See this is what I mean, off on tangents that have * all to do with what I was talking about in the first place. Zero comment on the multiple cases of security breaches, ignoring the actual statement released by the club, with specific details of the reasons for the ban.

But aye, I'm the one not engaging. Love it.

...would take note if there were 15000 of them. They are genuinely a minority voice in the grander scheme of things. It's a rinse and repeat if they get let back in again. Either the club draw the line here and never let them back in or they let them in and accept the consequences of doing so.

And it gets resolved, with an * sit down.

Are we not still talking about the GB being banned and the board’s statement? I am actually talking about the security issues. I’ve raised a point about them which you are also ignoring. I’m asking if the GB are banned due to security issues, why were they not banned before the Atletico game? These are all valid questions regarding the ban. I’m asking for your opinion and for you to take these things I’m mentioning into consideration as you have made it abundantly clear you support the board on this. I think you would rather it did go off on a tangent as it would give you an out instead of sticking to the discussion and questions I’m asking you.

I love the fact they've released a statement to say they see no point in releasing statements

You believe the ban is all about Palestinian flags do you not? Therefore all the other issues are fabrications?

My position is the club have let the GB away with all sorts for a long time, and that idiotic banner was the final straw. The club also realise how delicate the situation is and we're reluctant to issue bans, so any delay would no doubt be preparing communications and ensuring they were air tight legally with suspending paid-for season tickets.

I believe that ultimately that’s why they were banned. Otherwise they would have been banned before they actually were if it were for “safety” reasons. The banner, although not the cleverest of wording perhaps, was also not an outright show of support for Hamas. It could be construed as so, but ultimately that’s all about opinion. The fact the board put out a statement about not showing support for Palestine and the GB were banned immediately after defying that, would suggest that it definitely played a part in the ban. If not the main reason, it was definitely a major factor. I’m amazed that not everyone can see through the board’s reasons in all honesty.

If they have indeed been waiting on a meeting which was arranged and meant to happen in September, I think it’s poor from the club as things the board have stated as reason for banning them could have been discussed at said meeting.

None of this is news to me, I've no idea why folk just love repeating themselves constantly, it's such a monotonous waste of time. Good luck to you.

    Let the people sign
So the GB broke in before Atletico game (serious issues regarding stadium security then which is down to the board) set up a display. Why did Celtic not inform security to remove the display…why did the board allow the display it explicitly said it didn’t want
