I am yet again proposing a financial boycott of the club starting next summer, to punish the board for their lack of investment in the footballing team.

    Spot on.

Iv said it before. We had our chance after the covid season to force change but too many supporters are too loyal.
After everything that went on that season for supporters to just renew straight away for the next season sent a negative message to the board.
It literally told them no matter what you do, no matter how bad things get, no matter how * you treat us we will continue to pay up and line your pockets

Okay. But without the boycott, there is no chance at all their policy changes. Lots of people saying we'd do better with a good LB. Make the board sign one!

A left back, GK and a striker is what we need now.

In Rodgers previous spell we had Edouard, Dembele and Griffiths as our strikers at one time and didnt make the CL. Now we have Kyogo and Oh.

Hart is fine at times but we are occasionally reminded that he isnt at tjr level required and should have only ever have been a stop gap until we brought in a quality number 1.

Taylor is limited and we need to be bringing in someone who can offer more. And in any case he needs realistic competition.

    * Simone such a classless *. Imagine a manager acting like that to try and get an opposing player sent off. Only other I can think of that would do that are guys like Gerrard/Neilso.

I've just seen the highlights - that sending off is a complete joke of a decision. His left leg isn't even particularly straight and there's no force whatsoever. Cheating spanish * making a complete meal of it and ref buys it every time.

    Sad what football is becoming

How many rolls did that cheating * Hermoso make after the challenge with Maeda? No doubt that * Simeone taught him the perfection of how to be a dirty cheating *.

I don’t like it either but you get no points for being prim and proper.

When we complained (Palma mostly), our players got booked. Acting would get us nowhere. Better embrace the risk of cards and play tough intentionally. Teams will eventually start fearing injury.

He is a winner. He spoke of respect before the game but its just words. People typically hate winners but they do what it takes. Nobody liked Mourinho in his pomp. Fergie created the same fear factor at Utd.

Simeone wont lose any sleep over it, on to the next one for him. Survive and advance.

I agree with the positions and this option of “we don’t have European football so will just wait to the summer” doesn’t fly.

As we saw last summer we lost a manager and 3 starters, we have to remember the likes of CCV, O’Riley, Hatate and Abada, will have all been at the club 2.5-3 years by that point, possibly Kyogo too, it wouldn’t surprise me if at least 3 of them look for a move. So we may not sign all their replacements but we need to be looking at players we want and if they are on expiring contracts make moves for them then.

Ange was right in that our January business should be well underway with deals close to being tied up in advance of the window. The summer didn’t seem like that but we will never know really.

From the outside looking how we manage transfer windows and our squad is an area that requires working on.

I dont think the board will have a choice because I think we are going to be in a title race this season unless we add.

We have had a few injuries which have already exposed our lack of depth and we still have to navigate through the winter period. One or two injuries to certain positions such as GK and striker could leave us even weaker.

We also need to be looking at our youth system as we should be consolidating our position of strength by brining in younger players who will look to compete for first team places in years to come.

We are all hurting badly and last night's result has gave the SMSM and every other c*nt the opportunity to slag us off to *. We are being called flops, pariahs and shouldn't be allowed to participate in the competition etc. So, while we as fans are really hurting, I hope those tory * on our board are happy in the knowledge that they have helped to tarnish the good name of our club by their constant failure to invest on the team.

Didn’t post a thing on here last night.

That was absolutely * humiliating. Degrading for a club of our size.

See the people that say - did we expect anything else? Last night, no probably not.

But I did in July when we had £70million in the bank and were supposedly pushing on from a position of strength (no laughing at the back)

An absolute * joke the way this club is run. The sad thing is, most people just accept it. Balance Sheet FC. * heartbreaking.
