What annoyed me about it and it's not the 1st time iv seen it. Is that wee * * telling others what to do or having a go at them. The * can't even take a throw in but he's constantly telling others what to do.

Went to bed and turned it off after Maeda was sent off. Was only going one way. Worst possible player to get sent off.

Obviously it was difficult going down to 10 men, but the fans deserved better than that. Getting beat 6-0 by any team is not acceptable, we showed it in the game at Celtic Park that we could compete. The rage tonight was that at 2-0 down you could see players not giving a *, going through the motions, strange to see.

This is EXACTLY where you are wrong.

Once again, as EVERYONE with any sentient thought in their head understands, you get what you pay for.

There is money. Plenty of it. More than enough to limit the continuous embarrassments we face in Europe year after year.

You buy a 2m player, the odds of that player being able to even cope, nevermind compete at CL level are pitiful.
You buy a 7m player. Those odds increase dramatically.

We have a higher turnover than Feynoord, and roughly the same as PSV. Yet they spend 50% of their reserve cash on transfers. Same for PSV. Are they being routed in Europe year after year?

We have 75m+ sitting there. U spend 20m of that on three players, LB, Winger, Midfielder... Tell me we're not a more competitive side in Europe? Go ahead.

Comparing TV money as an excuse for our disgraceful transfer policy is * boardspeak for "you'll get what we give and be happy about it.".

They need to go. Asap. Before the likes of PSV and Feynoord are completely on another level from us entirety.

I've noticed this as well, any mistake happens and Taylor is right in remonstrating with whoever the culprit is. Saw him do it with Scales last week as well. Needs to wind his neck in as he's not cut out for CL football himself, miles off it. And the captain needs to be the one kicking arses on pitch, should be him stepping in.

Still get some enjoyment going to the home games in the Champions League but watching the away games is utterly depressing. No enjoyment in it at all, don’t even look forward to it, dread it.

Pathetic result but the manager and board need to take full responsibility for that result.
Lack of action in the summer transfer window and only buying projects, this club constantly goes backwards due to the biscuit tin mentality.
Maeda you are a * fool as he constantly lunges into tackles and a sending off was inevitable.

And under Ange we got beat over two legs, by a team with a far less wage and transfer budget than us. How do you reconcile this with your argument about teams with far greater finances?

Even back in the era of WGS celtic, there were still teams who brought in significantly more money than us. The Benficas, Shakhtars, Milans, Man Utds. We didnt implode against AC Milan, we went out by one goal. Everything is relative. And he went as far as he did with a defence that cost a pittance.

Feyenoord and Lazio are not that far away from us in terms of overall level. But we dont do ourselves any favours with our tactics and indiscipline. Its been a recurring factor with Rodgers. Players getting sent off, players running out of position and causing us to concede, goalkeeping errors, poor marking at crosses/corners.

That is true, but DD won't even try to make us half way competitive in there. We can't win the CL but with our resources we should have a decent shot at 3rd place in the group and here and there a chance of 2nd. I remember when a 5 point total was deemed embarrassing - that's a dream outcome now. The facts are, that of the teams that regularly play in tis event, we are the worst; that's where DD has brought a once proud European force. DD has no more ambition in the CL that the Kellys and Whites did - the view is 'we won it once, that'll do'. DDs strategy is to resource the manager to finish 1 point ahead of Sevco in the league; no more.

We play with too much honesty … and naivety … neither of which work in Europe with the refs and opposition.

There are two different plays goin on t Celtic. One for the fans and one for the board. Retaining cash means big profit numbers - ergo big dividends and bonus payments for the financial management of the company. It can all be justified on financial performance grounds. However, for the fans - it's about just enough on the pitch to keep the revenue rolling in and no more. As long as fans are paying - it's all good for the board. Both Celtic and Rangers exploit the loyalty of the fans in this way with boardrooms stuffed full of accountants & lawyers all grabbing the cash. So when you book it down - fan loyalty underpins the under investment - the more loyal and committed the fan base - the worse the team can be. The board don't care about your pain - they care about your spending.
