I dont even get excited about us in Europe tbh....Even with the Draw in Early Spetember...we just know whatever group we go into we are getting pumped.

We cant compete with these teams with a squad like this and going into a tournament like this with projects.

And these * come out on the day we play our first CL game and give us all the money we made in the last year......Yet we basically spend * all.

It's why every decent manager we have jumps ship at the 1st sniff of an opportunity elsewhere.

Absolutely no one with any credibility wants to work under a board with * all ambition for anymore than a year or 2

 

Honestly begs the (continued) question, why is he back?

I think Rodgers is a fantastic manager and he's the best manager we have managed to get, twice, now.

But I truly do not understand why he returned here, if the board aren't actually backing him by investing in Europe.

He's already, technically speaking, done worse in the domestic competitions by getting put out the league cup. So what is his goals this time around? Europe was the only "unfinished business" he had left to do, but he's about as poorly backed and ready for this level of football as he was 4 years ago.
