Again some beautiful stuff, audacious attempt from 20 odd yards, great touch and very nimble. That turn and run up the park was excellent. Big talent.

Needs more game time. That turn and run with the ball is what I used to expect from McGregor.

Didn't realise how rapid he was, that run near the end was great.

    Another excellent cameo..

Don't think BR will risk him in Madrid from the start.. but must be in contention.

It's the quintessential question regarding the lineup. Bernardo is okay, but if we want mobility, then Holm is better. The negative football adherent and Asian player fan in me screams: get in Iwata!!...but it's going to be Bernardo, Holm or Turnbull.

We won't be dominating that match from the get-go. And McGregor got a grand total of 13 minutes rest. I'd play Holm and tell him not to worry about the cards. The red he got was unfair.

I think we could all see from when he came to the club we had a real talent on our hands. This boy has it all, in my opinion. His has ability to back up his attitude, he is going to be brilliant for us. In addition, he’s probably with the best manager he could have to develop him. Great times ahead for this boy.

It just seems to me that BR has Bernardo ahead of him in the pecking order at the minute.

Been promising to date and can only hopefully get better. On showings should be ahead of Bernardo.

    I really like him.

He's got huge potential and is already showing what he can do.

Definitely ahead of Bernardo, for me. I'd be looking to give him a few starts now that Hatate is out.

Very fast when running with the ball at his feet....not easy to do.
    Also has good distribution.
Looking forward to see him get more game time.

If McGregor, MOR and Hatate is the first choice midfield 3, then Holm has to be next in line. Should be starting games now with Hatate out.

I remember reading a stats report on him when we signed him from someone that supported his old club Valerenga and they basically said if he can be more consistent and be surrounded by better players the sky is the limit for him.

They also mentioned his team used him often as the deepest midfielder as the single pivot and that didn’t really suit him as although he was decent defensively it restricted him getting forward where he had good vision for a pass and a decent strike on him.

I think if you brought him into a fairly settled side now to play the Hatate role it could really suit his game and where he is as a player as Hatate for all his brilliance was fairly inconsistent at times.

The run where he tried to set up Oh yesterday you could see Holm was desperate for Oh to make a run but he didn’t really do anything in the end, he either had to move to get in behind the defender or move wide to drag him away so Holm could drive into the box but done neither and Holm tried a pass that wasn’t really on.

He has a real chance of being a top, top, player. All about how much he wants it now and how quickly he can learn.

He has an unbelievable amount of talent.

Definitely looks promising, one of those players the ball seems to stick to his boot. Very technical.

Be interesting to see how he develops the more he plays and if he has an eye for goal and stuff.
