    Out
Siegrest - send the simp to Oz
    Phillips - no longer required
    Kobiyashi - too weak
Mccarthy - rip up his contract
Turnbull - out of contract in summer
    Johnston - unless he's injured

Would loan out Kwon and Tilio unless he does something between now and Jan. Both need developed and time to adapt to European/Scottish football.
Don't see us getting anywhere near our money back on Bernabei so would be tempted to loan him out to see if he can either be improved upon or if he can at least fool someone into paying over £1m for him.
Would also be tempted to loan out Lagerbielke or Welsh for 6 months to get more game time. CCV, Scales and Nawrocki will be 3 main cbs going into 2nd half of the season with 1 of Lagerbielke or Welsh being 4th choice.

    In

A goalkeeper to challenge Hart with the view to him taking over as number 1 for start of the season.

    A left back, * anyone

    A striker

Even if not Europa or UCL, then I'd at least be wanting guys brought in from decent European leagues.

We need quality. I know we say it most windows but to secure this league we really do need it.

I’d much rather wait till Summer for quality than scrape the barrell in January.

We should be working an Summer transfers now. Planting a few seeds.

Problem is we need players in January. We’re trying to make hard work of the league because our squad depth is almost non existent in a few areas.

Rodgers himself said we want more quality in the squad so there's no doubt we'll be looking for it.

    Position wise id say

    Striker - Sidney Van Hooydonk
    GK - Andri Lunin
    MF - Lennon Miller
    LB Leif Davis

Then if anyone is sold replacements

I want Miller but he's very much a prospect again.

We need an instant upgrade in the midfield.

Perhaps Holm can offer what we need. We have a shortage of options at LB.

Buy Miller then loan him back for a season.

Usually I'd agree but if you look at Wednesday nights starting 11 and bench youd think its a must to get at least 2 in. Again this all boils down to a disgraceful summer window. There is absolutely no excuse we are in this position, start of November and we are crying out for players to be signed. We are One or two more injuries to key players away from an absolute nightmare situation..

I think it'll be another awful window.

We'll likely add to the squad but probably with players similiar to Yang and Holm.

Prospects with a few flashes. That's it.

Hopefully dead wood players moved out first and foremost, we have too many players that are adding nothing to the first team, then we need players who will add to the first team immediately, we are a little fish in a big sea in European competitions but we have too many projects who cannot even make an impact in the SPL.

Patty wetter in chief here; I'm gonna say this, and ppl are gonna lose their *...

But if we don't get this window right, we could lose the league.

    There I said it.

Not really controversial. It's clear we can't keep relying on the same 12/13 players for a full season.

I’d like a couple of signings for depth, but I’m not going to freak out if we don’t sign starters. Like if we can’t get a really good LB and GK I think we should hold off. But if the right players become available we should get them. Just don’t want a squad full of more * we can’t shift.

I don't think it's that controversial tbh as games like hibs away will happen more often as we don't have the squad atm to cope.

The Huns don't either tbf but that's not the point.

It's not that far out there mate. The huns have banged in 9 without reply in their last 2 games and we've struggled to break down Hibs and St.Mirren scoring 2 and conceding 1.

As I said we are a few injuries away from a nightmare situation. Still think we will win the league but not as comfortably as we should..

My biggest fear is that Uncle Fester seems to be at least competent. Add on to that Danilo looks like he will find the net enough.

They should be no * challenge for us whatsoever though. Therein lies the problem. The last window left us weaker, and unless actual REAL players are bought, and can play and actually impact games, we're in trouble imo.

Sevco are in the same boat obviously. And they've still got a fire squad of bottle merchants like Goldson and Tav. But they'll be far too close for my comfort if we don't pull away after Xmas. And that frankly isn't going to happen with the current squad. It's just too weak at the moment. We're actually a couple more injuries away from a real * crisis imo.

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers will target a new striker in January to cover for Kyogo and Oh at the Asian Cup.

The Parkhead gaffer admits he’s likely to lose FIVE key players in January to the tournament in Qatar. As well as Kyogo, Japan could also call upon Daizen Maeda and Reo Hatate, who are due to return from injury by then. And alongside Oh, South Korean winger Yang might also be leaving Glasgow for a month.

With crucial Premiership games against Hibs and Aberdeen away - and Kilmarnock and Ross County at home - as well as a Scottish Cup tie scheduled for that period, Rodgers knows he’ll need reinforcements. And the striking department will be his priority due to the absence of Kyogo, Oh and Maeda, in particular. Celtic will have money to spend in the January transfer window but the manager has hinted that signing a forward player on loan is a possibility.

Rodgers said: “We’ve given the Asian Cup a lot of thought. The likelihood is - if they’re fit - a lot of them will be there (in Qatar). That’s part of our planning.

“It doesn’t change our plans for January as it’s not a surprise. We knew it was there. We spoke about it in the summer leading into this window. We have that in hand and we know what our ideas are for that.

“It’s about strategy. You can either buy one or you can look at the loan market. It’s always about availability and what you can afford as well.

“Is it a big loss for us (the players going away)? Yeah, but it’s always an opportunity for someone else. Everyone is replaceable. You want to have all your squad here but we’ve known all along they won’t be so we’re prepared.

“Our first look will always be inside. Is there anyone in the academy we feel can step in? You never know, you might have a £15 million or £20 million player in there.

“We’ll assess that. If it’s not inside then of course, we’ll have to look outside. Players can also switch positions. The last time I was here, I played Patrick Roberts or James Forrest as a striker for a number of games. We’ve got adaptability within the squad but we know what we’ll need.”

The Asian Cup - which was postponed from last summer due to Covid - will take place in Qatar between January 12 and February 10. That means, after the SPFL’s winter break - which ends on January 19 - Celtic’s players could miss up to five matches depending on how deep their countries go in the tournament.

League chiefs have already warned clubs against requesting to call off league fixtures - and Rodgers says that’s not a road they’d have gone down anyway. He said: “No, we’ll just play the games. I don’t think there’s any need (to request postponements).

“They’re away. It’s just like the African Cup of Nations, it’s part of the deal. If you have a number of Asian players in your squad, you know this might happen so it’s just about dealing with it.

“It’s something you have to plan forward for and it was one of the first things we spoke about when I came here. It’s not all about the present, it’s about looking forward to each window.”
